Fuji Velvia is, as always, the best for landscape work. I consistently get the most beautiful positives and end results from this film. No film photographer should avoid shooting with this awesome film!

I just fairly recently made my foray into 35 mm after having learned digital a few years ago. This film is an amazing and fun challenge to use.

I have loved Fujichrome Velvia 50 since it came out way back in 1990. The ISO is a bit slow but the fine grain and rich colors make up for it. I am a railroad buff and have photographed many trains over the past 30 years with many different films and every time, I would come come back to Velvia. At 50 ISO, Velvia requires a somewhat shallow depth of field in order to achieve a 1/500 of a second shutter speed or higher but on sunny days, that is easily achievable. If you wish to shoot film, I highly recommend Velvia 50. If the ISO is considered too slow to your liking then I highly recommend "bumping up" to Fujichrome's Velvia 100. Nearly identical to the 50 but with the added incentive of being "faster".
