Questions & Answers

Shopper : can this paper be used in a HP 4600 laser printer?RICK F : This paper is for use in a darkroom. It will discolor if it is exposed to light. You might get some sort of interesting artistic effect, if that's your intention. Experiment! Using it to print documents wouldn't work too well, especially since the paper is so much more expensive than regular laser printer paper. EMILIA H : No, this is a light sensitive paper. It is only meant to be used in a color darkroom.JAMIE H : No. This paper is NOT intended to take ink or toner from a modern printer. This is light sensitive photo enlarging paper that is intended to be developed with chemistry in a darkroom. Opening the box without being in a light tight space will ruin the paper. The emulsion side of the paper is actually a light blue before it is developed, not white.LAUREN T : no, this paper is for darkroom use onlyKYRIE K : No. This is paper used for printing from color negatives from a film camera. If exposed to light, it will ruin the paper. This is for printing in a darkroom, not printing from a computer. Hope this helps!
MAYUREE W : Can this product will be use with ink jet printer?AMANDA B : I'm going to say no, since I used this paper in my Color printing class last semester, and we actually had a processing machine that we slipped the paper into after enlarging and doing our color corrections at the Enlarger; so I don't believe this paper works for digital prints.GEOFFREY T : No. This type of paper is made specifically for darkroom usage only. There are papers made just for inkjet printers, I would suggest looking up epson brand papers for digital printing.EMILIA H : Definitely not. The purpose of this paper is to use it for c-prints in a color darkroomDUSTIN R : that is a good question. You could maybe use it for inkjet if you first processed it through the ra4 chemistry. That would give you a plain white sheet of paper. But I sort of think that it wouldn't accept the ink properly.PAT P : No its for the darkroom so it can't be exposed to light SHERRY M S : NO! This is for a color darkroom and must be processed with a KODAK RA4 color processor. It is for making color prints using a chemical process from a color negative.JACQUELINE M : No, this paper is for use in a color darkroom. Try searching for epson premium photo paper in a matter finish. Hope this helps!ARIANA D : no, this is printing paper for enlargerKYRIE K : no. this paper is extremely light sensitive, so it will turn blue as soon as you expose it to light. it can only be used in a color darkroom.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?SAVANNAH B : PrintsGEISHA R : Is the same paper that Shutterfly use for their prints and I do need it for print good quality pictures.Mikara M : For school

Good quality color print paper

This paper has always served me well when making color prints. Nice color, nice finish. It isn't too difficult to tell the back side from the front, but if you're not paying attention it's easy to print on the wrong side.

Good quality and build for the right printer.

Very good quality, great to work with, but finding the Metalic style of Red River a bit more eye appealing. Depends on the client.

Wonderful! Will definitely utilize again.

Ordering online and picking up in person was a breeze. The website was easy to navigate and the pickup was available quickly. The store has plenty of employees to help and I was consistently offered assistance throughout my visit. The experience was so pleasant.

The only game in town

Fuji is doing us darkroom needs a big favor by continuing to produce this in cut sheets. Old timers don’t like it as much as papers from the analog era but it’s great for me

Damaged Paper!

Did not have a good experience. Product was packed poorly and came damaged. This has happened more than once. The first time I was on a deadline and worked around the bent edge and printed smaller. This time I am returning.

Good quality, but thin

This is very good quality paper - the images are clear, and compared to a digital print of the same image, much more crisp and colorful (in a good way). The only problem is that the paper itself is very thin and flimsy - dents way too easily.

Gorgeous paper.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers here are getting at, because this paper has a rich and vibrant dynamic range. Also, acquiring color shifts in the highlights is NEVER a result of the paper, but rather is entirely user or lab error. As most who have worked with C prints before know, color shifts are natural occurrences in the process to achieving a perfect print, and can be corrected by adding red. Needless to say, this paper delivers excellent results along with a nice, bright white base. One of my favorite RA-4 papers.

Perfect paper for printing color

This product works well with Fujifilm, you get solid results. If printing with Kodak film, you may need to adjust for the temperature of the paper-cool-but the end product is still good, pending experience and technical knowledge. Highly recommended.

[...]

compared to Super C by Fugi this paper is extremely lightweight. it bends easily and has a cheap feel to it. Super C was thicker and sturdier. [...] BRING BACK SUPER C. [...] I have to go througth the process of returning this item. would not recommend however, what is your other options.

Great for any color darkroom

I am in a color photography class and have used only Fuji papers. This paper is great for beginners to professionals. The lustre paper is the perfect middle ground, not too glossy and not too matte. The only problem I had was printing in the darkroom, I started a new box of paper and the filter combination was a little off from the previous box of paper. I had to change the filters by around 7 points or so and then it was no problem. Other than that, great product! Also I'm glad I started with Fuji paper since as of recently Kodak doesn't make photo paper anymore.

Excellent

I have started printing in color this year and have been using the Fuji paper. It is consistent within a box of paper. A new box would require a slight adjustment but that is normal. I like the saturation and the look I get with Fuji. I use their film as well but that is not necessary when printing with their paper.

Excellent Paper

Excellent paper for enlarging or contact printing. I used it for conventional color, printing cross-processed negatives, and printing warm black and white images (I got close to sepia).
