These replacements are astoudingly expensive for what they are. They do work. However, I just bought replacement hex bolts at my local hardware store (Stanleys) for less then a dollar each. I walked in the door, an attendant asked what I needed, I showed them, and they found the right hex bolt in less than five minutes. Also, I don't understand why these things need replacing every six months or so. I have cheaper stands that have never needed their bolts replaced.

These are incredibly hard to find at the local hardware stores. THankfully I was able to get them here. Works great so far!

The original was 1/4 in shorter than the replacement. I had the original for about a year before it striped out. The only place you can find it is Adorama and the cost plus shipping is pricy.
