Filter wrench works pretty good. It’s not always needed, but there are times the filter is a little bit stubborn. The filter wrench solves that problem easily and quickly.

It did not work on a thin filter. Needed to use a rubber jar opener.

Large diameter filters with very fine threads can get stuck very easily. This wrench will unstick those filters without damaging the filter or lens.

When first received product it appeared quiet flimsy but on use of wrench it showed why. Filters are very thin and if wrench was not also it would be totally useless. You should not tighten filters with a wrench and you wouldn't need a wrench in first place but sometimes you can't get a grip on them and wrench works beautifully.

The wrench is easy to use with thin filters such as a circular polarizer. The only issue would be that it is made of plastic and may not take rough treatment. But the portability of the wrench is a plus for me.

Lens got hit...broke the glass and dented the filter ring. It was wedged on the lens tight. I called service department and they said its a 5 minute procedure and would cost $15. Did it myself, saved time without my lens.

This tool is great for filters such as circular polarizers that manage to get "stuck" on my lens for no apparent reason. My hands are too large to get a good grip on just the ribbed edge and this just makes life easier. Not a "necessary" tool, but has come in handy for me.

I have several lenses that require 77mm filters and sometimes removing them has been a pain, but not any more.

Used it to remove an incorrectly threaded filter. It took a little bit of force but would have been impossible without it.

I must have. I didn't have one and my Cir Polarizer got stuck on my lens...not a fun time. They are a little flimbsy but they kinda have to be because they need to be slim to work.

Boy, I wished I would have known about these a year or two ago. These make filter removal a breeze. Especially your wide angle filters that have a narrow outer rim. GEESH! AWESOME! I will never be without a couple of these in my camera bag at all times now!
