The R70's multi-mission payloads offer ISR and payload delivery capabilities that were once exclusive to larger UAS. Its optical sensors include the StormCaster-T, a longwave infrared, continuous zoom ISR payload with superior line of sight stabilization, range of motion, and geolocation accuracy. The HDZoom 30 provides clear visuals at distances up to 8 km, and the EO/IR Mk-II delivers high-quality daylight and thermal imagery that can be securely streamed worldwide.

With the Osprey, R70 operators can quickly attach, carry, and deliver nearly any object up to 3.5 kg, making it ideal for forward resupply, asset extraction, or other specialized missions. The payload development kit allows third-party payload developers to integrate their payloads with the R70 platform, extending the system's capabilities to support critical ISR, detection, and ELINT missions.

The R70 is powered by multiple embedded NVIDIA TX2 processors, making it a flying supercomputer capable of real-time artificial intelligence at the network edge, including object detection and classification. It can withstand sustained winds up to 65 kph (40 mph), and operate up to 15,000' MSL. The R70 is equipped with a robust digital MIMO communications link and two independent navigation subsystems, ensuring mission success even in RF-denied environments.
