The SUGV Robot is controlled through the uPoint Multi-Robot Control system. This system features a touchscreen-based tablet controller, allowing operators to select from across the family of connected robots.
The SUGV Robot is equipped with four wide-angle color cameras with zoom and illumination capabilities. An optional fifth camera with thermal capability can be added for enhanced data collection.
The SUGV Robot uses the MPU5 radio operating on the Wave Relay MANET. This forms a robust network where robots, operators, and observers can operate together seamlessly, allowing the robot to penetrate deeper into complex structures and further downrange.
