I'm using this on top of a FLM tripod. At the moment it has a Canon EOS R5 with a 600MM zoom and a stupid large telephoto atop a Ronin S2 mounted. It is solid, smooth, great grip and just plain easy.

Built like a tank

German engineering at it's best. Holds a Nikon D500 and 200-500 lens without a hiccup. The two-step lock takes some getting used to but the result is bulletproof. Doesn't move at all

The FLM CB-38FTR Professional 1.5" Ball Head with Friction / Tilt has 3/8" bottom thread to attach to tripods or monopods and 1/4" & 3/8" connection thread for camera attachment or other specialist accessory.

The FTR is also fitted with the Rastasystem PRS Pan click-lock knob for panorama shots. This allows you to obtain a perceptible and audible click-lock positioning every 15deg. in a horizontal plane for the shots being taken. It can be used with the FLM CP30 series tripods.
