Because I had bought this portfolio (Florence Art Portfolio Plus 23" x 31" x 3") a year ago, Adorama asked me to answer a question from a prospective buyer. She asked, "Is there anything to hold the images in place or do they just float around the case?" Yes, the portfolio holds my husband's large photographs well. One side has 2 criss-crossing elastic bands. The other has an 8-10" wide solid band that's open on top and bottom. The photo on the Adorama website shows both, although in the photo the wide band looks more like a pocket (which it is not).

Purchased this for my daughter (the artist) for Christmas after her leather portfolio zipper broke. She loved it the minute she saw it. Sturdy construction and extra wide to help her carry all her artwork. She asked for a larger portfolio and this fit the bill exactly. I'm sure the other sizes are the same quality construction. Highly recommend this product if you are looking for a sturdy portfolio to carry your artwork or larger documents (prints, plans & drawings).

Although this product is nicely made, easy to open, good zipper..I bought it for my husband to carry his photos to and from the city. The problem is that because of the rounded corners on the top, it does not hold a 17" x 22' photo-which is the reason I bought it! If it was another inch taller it would have worked great! Double check your photo or art product before ordering this one- you may need the larger size which is harder to carry and awkward to walk with!

This portfolio allows me to carry framed or unframed photos in it and holds a surprising number of 11x14 and 8x10 framed work. It also is easy to carry and strong. I don't worry about my documents getting damaged. When I am putting up a job for a customer it also acts as my tool bag. I do wish it had a couple of pockets but get along with it as is. For the money you just can't go wrong.
