Very sturdy, a few clips were "sticky"

The frame was vert sturdy. Opening the clips was a bit tricky, some didn't pop out easily. There was no groove that could be used to hang the frame. That's a major design flaw. However, I used two screw-eye hooks. However, the final result was excellent and the price was reasonable, which is why I give it a high rating.

About Framatic Frameless C1218B Glass Clip Frame for 12x18in

With only a few small metal clips retaining the glass front and no molding at all, the Frameless clip frame is practically frameless. With the Framatic clip system, no hardware is removed when loading the frame, and it takes only secondsto do so.

Our exclusive system has stainless steel clips retained by injection molded buttons welded to a styrene plastic back. A press of the finger releases the clips for loading, then returns the clips to secure glass and artwork.

The clips adjust to accommodate up to a double mat. The clips come black or chrome. The buttons serve as hangers as well as floating the frame 1/2" away from the wall. Edges of the glass are ground smooth.
