I like the because they have real glass, because the frame is so thin, and because once they're assembled, they're sturdy. Assembling, especially at this size, can be a hair tricky: Because the frame is so thin, it's easy to wind up with the glass outside the frame, Second pair of hands definitely useful. I did wind up with scratched glass on one of mine. Not sure how it happened or whether it might have been scratched when I received. Clearly, work surfaces must be clean, smooth, possibly cushioned.
