Don't Buy This Frame

The frame is too thin. The vertical sides bend out allowing the plastic to come out of the groves.

Light thin frame

If you're looking for a cheap thin lightweight frame this frame by Framatic is almost your only option. The edges are straight (unlike the many cheaper options with rounded shiny edges). Note that this frame does not come with real glass, but plexi. Don't forget to take off the protective layer. Overall this is an okay frame, but if you have a little bit more budget and prefer much higher quality, go for the Framatic Fineline version which has an even thinner frame (about half of this one) and which comes with real glass. Unfortunately the Framatic Fineline 24 x 36 alternative seems impossible to find.

About Framatic Superlight S2436B Frame for 24x36in Photo

The Superlight poster frame is affordably priced for the display of posters yet maintains the clean style, quality, and function typical of all Framatic products. A thin styrene front is used for the image opening, which combined with the other lightweight components, makes this poster frame "super-lightweight" relative to its size.

An ½" wide face aluminum molding is fastened together,giving a sturdy frame thatis accessed from the back. The frame can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

The aluminum molding and clear plastic front make this frame incredibly light, and economical while maintaining the quality for which Framatic is noted.

Available in black or silver satin.
