This is a great accessory for the Orbis Flash. The one potential issue is where the flash attaches. I had some issues with the flash cord from the camera and connectivity since all the weight of the flash and the Orbis sit on a single pivot point at the bottom of the bracket. It needs a clamp higher up on the bracket to help stabilize the flash.

This is a solid bracket that is essential when using the Orbis by yourself. While you can hold the camera in one hand and the Orbis in another for a shot, in my experience using this bracket makes shooting through the Orbis so much easier. It's a simple solution, and it's rugged and built to handle the weight and stress of large camera body/lens and flash combos.

If you're going to be using the Orbis for anything more than a few shots, this bracket is very helpful. Especially useful where the Orbis is being used for portrait and candid events. The bracket holds the Orbis in place, relative to the lens, which frees up a hand. It slides to adjust length, which I presume will accomodate the differences in lenses and mfgs. This is a sturdy piece, but bulky and adds considerably to the weight of the total camera/flash combiniation.

If you buy the Orbis ring flash, you really need to buy this. Trying to hand hold the Orbis or mount it on a stand just dosen't cut it.

I love the light I get with my Orbis Ring. The bracket is useful to be able to move about but it really makes the camera heavy! It's also vital that the adaptor to attach the flash be tight, tight, tight or it will flop around. The sync cord needs to be the right length as well.

Good Product, I'm very happy with the results using ETTL.

The orbis arm was developed in response to requests from orbis photographers from around the world. This exciting innovation allows an orbis photographer to shoot with one hand leaving the other free to zoom the lens, interact with their portrait subject and more.
The orbis arm is the result of months of development and rigorous testing by real-world photographers. Fits the orbis(tm) and flash to the camera using the solid tripod socket as the attachment point. Four-way adjustable to fit a wide range of gear combinations.
