Foba ASMIA Q Dual Tilting Head comes equipped with the Balso Quick Release Unit making this a suitable tripod head for the serious large camera photographer. This dual tilting head is engineered with a 44lbs load capacity to hold heavier large format or video cameras. The head allows an almost unlimited range of motion, from -15deg. to +105deg., allowing you to go beyond 90deg. and straighten your horizon when the bubble level shows that the tripod is on uneven ground.
The panorama plate is mounted on needle bearings allowing the head to handle much heavier loads than ball bearings. It is also calibrated in 5deg. intervals with a separate thumb screw to control full 360deg. panning. Included with the Asmia is the Balso, an Arca-style quick release head with a 3/8" thread. It uses an open channel design which means short plates can be used for light loads and longer plates can be used for heavier loads.
