This paper is a little slower than Foma's other offerings, which I like. I also like the slightly textured surface. Last but not least, it dries fairly flat I would buy again.

Love Fomatone. Both matte & glossy. Use religiously? ( I normally print a little larger, so hope you?ll keep both in stock in 11x14 size).

What sets the Fomatone MG Classic 132 VC FB Paper apart is its variable-contrast feature, making it an ideal choice for both portrait photography and vintage-inspired projects. This unique photographic paper operates in a warm tone, offering a broad contrast range from extra soft to ultra hard. This contrast variability is achieved through the use of color filters during exposure, providing you with the flexibility to create your desired effect.
The Fomatone MG Classic 132 is crafted with a distinctive silver chlorobromide emulsion, which imparts a brown-green to warm-brown tone to the silver image. This tonal quality can be further manipulated by the choice of developer used, allowing for a high degree of customization in your photographic prints.
The paper base is thoughtfully colored to complement the tone of the developed silver, accentuating a rich spectrum of warm halftones. These range from light cream to deeply saturated brown-to-green black hues, adding depth and warmth to your photographs.
Despite its lower speed, the Fomatone MG Classic 132 is primarily designed for contact work. However, its versatility allows it to be used as an enlargement paper as well, broadening its range of applications. The special silver chlorobromide emulsion of this paper also enables users to explore creative techniques within the "lith" processes.
The Fomatone MG Classic 132 VC FB Paper is presented on a baryta (FB) paper base, offering double weight and available in three surfaces: glossy, matte, and fine-grain. This 5x7" matte variant comes in a pack of 25 sheets, providing ample supply for your photographic projects.
