TANA L : Will the Fomaspeed Variant III 312 paper work for Lith Printing?  If not, can you say which of the Foma papers will?John M : It is at least worth a try to see if it will produce the infectious development Lith Printing creates. When I have used Mesquite as a developer with this specific paper, it did create an interesting effect which I did not see with other papers, so it has potential for experimenting with. But you should see much better results from Fomatone MG Classic, or FomaBrom Variant III. If you have never done it before, there are some step by step writeups on the web. Perhaps the simplest to follow/best is on the Emulsive website if Adorama does not have a learning module on this. They do reference a few other papers, which may or may not be easily available in the USA or Canada, but it might be worth checking with Adorama Customer Service to see if they can order them for you. Those are "Slavich Unibrom" and "Oriental Seagull Warm Tone and Cold Tone". And Adox "may" have their version of the old Forte "Polywarmtone" ready, which could also be one to try.JANE E : It's paper for developing photographs. I don't know if it will work for Lith printing. A decent utility paper

It is a decent utility paper, but highlights sometimes come out a little muddy due to the paper itself not being a bright white. And while polyphenol developers can work with this paper, the silver in the emulsion tends to react leaving the whole sheet with a slight greyish tint that compresses the tonal range. Regular paper developers work just fine.

A great product at a really amazing affordable price

I have tried other Foma products before. I’m a fan of Foma Classic 100 film with its great classic look and great contrast. I have also used Fomafix fixer and also find it good product. This photo paper is also a great product at a really amazing affordable price. Very recommended!

I used this in a photography class to create long-exposure pin-hole camera images. It was great at capturing and recording enough light to then print by photographing with an ipad, enhancing and then printing the reverse image. Will use again.

Excellent

Beautiful paper, easy to use and dries very nice and flat. Took a few tries to get the hang of how the paper worked best, but it’s been very consistent ever since. I love the velvet finish. I’d definitely repurchase.
