Kit arrived with both light stands broken, I have light stands so not a problem. I plan to buy additional lights but not the kit with the stands, very flimsy. With two units I was able to fill a fairly large room at full power. Stands set at 8' bare bulb using the 8 channel radio unit. Have also used them in several portrait shoots with good success. I would and plan to buy at least 2 more of these lights. The bag with the kit was reasonable sturdy. I would have liked for the covers on the lights to be able to cover the modeling lamps without having to remove them. This year I still have 37 weddings and events booked that they will be used at. With more to come. By the end of the year I should have a good idea of the value of these units. So other than the poor stands I think they are a good value and I would recommend them.

• Our most popular kits configurations are the ones with a full kit. These appeal to photographers buying studio lighting for the first time as well as photographers looking for exceptional value for the money. A typical kit will include monolight with light stand. To help complete this kit there is 40" white umbrellas, stands, Battery back and case included. In our experience, this creates a very easy-to-use setup. Using umbrellas is perfect for portraiture and many still-life applications.
