I am very impressed with the quality and value of this tripod. I'm a hobbyist videographer. I recently borrowed a fluid-head tripod from a professional videographer. It was great! I had never used a fluid head before, so I decided to buy an inexpensive one to see how one worked. I did a Google search and this 3Pod V3AH-3 came up. I used it last weekend and it was worked very well!

Considering its price point, I was pleasantly surprised at the rigidity and function of this tripod. While I got it to hold a camcorder for video work, I think that it would be usable with one of my larger cameras.

Top notch for the price. Let?s are flimsy, head has to be at or under the weight rating to function properly. So as long and you are aware of the build quality before purchase it should be a good tripod.

I don?t know of anything comparable in this price range. Was purchased while on sale. Has a good range in height. Easy to adjust. Has served me well so far. Comes with a decent bag too.

i haven't really used it much, but it looks very stable and the head smoothly functions. I think it will be good for video and a lot of stills photography. All the moving parts are smooth.

Well, I'll start by saying I returned it. It was an okay entry level product but not really fluid head. The pan was not very dampened and due to the small round feet didn't seem all that stable when trying to run a slider on it. A good budget/starter video tripod but you'll probably end up wanting more or better features.

I ended up returning this tripod because you can't separate the video head from the bowl mount and mount a gimbal head in its place, but other than that it seemed like a decent tripod.

My budget is way too small for some of the pro-level cinema tripods out there, so I honestly didn't expect much from this for the price I paid. I was thrilled when I got it out and realized just how sturdy it actually is. I'm sure it is missing some features of its more expensive counterparts, but if you are looking for a sturdy, reliable, and adjustable tripod for cinematography, this is a fantastic pick.

????½ 4 & one-half, or 9 out of 10 would be fair. Nothing is perfect in real life; this tripod approaches perfect for my professional needs (I would have all-metal, no plastic...but, let's be real). My work needs pro-level images & some video, for architecture, book design & various graphic presentations. This gives me a solid, easily portable base, & intuitive controls for the shots I need. Any significantly better tripod would cost several times what Adorama has charged for this one. Adorama, per usual, gives great service, quick delivery, best prices. Highly recommended.

It does the job pretty well and is a Great price. Good for a studio setup where you don’t plan to move the tripod much. In terms of the weight and collapsible size of the tripod, you get what you pay for - it’s pretty dang bulky and heavy.

Overall I’m very pleased with this tripod. It’s build quality is pretty good and it has a nice solid structure. The ball head is great for more diverse adjustments, and the pan head is very useful. It’s pretty tall, however I wish it could go a little higher because I’m a pretty tall guy. Also the legs are kind of annoying to close, but that’s true with every tripod. But overall it’s a great tool!
