I have a love hate relationship with this arm. It's very convenient to be able to loosen all of the arm's adjustments with the twist of just one wheel. However, if you just want to make a minor adjustment unscrewing that wheel will loosen each of the arm's settings requiring you to reset them all not just the intended adjustment. However, this is the best solution (and least expensive) I have found to light extreme macro images. It appears to be very sturdy and I would buy it again.

This is exactly what we're looking for. The mount holds our LED camera light perfectly and adjustment is easy and stays put when you need it to.

Nice small arm that allowed me to get my Rode mic up and out of the way on my rig. I think this thing will last long than my cameras.

Build quality is good. I bought this to get my video light off camera. Seems like it will work great. Tightens up well and holds the light via 1/4 20 screw.

I use this to stabilize my tripod legs when I have the tripod legs moved close in to the column when I am taking photographs to be stitched together to create a virtual tour. Combined with clamps this works well and they are small enough to fit in my tripod case. They are quick to setup when I am working in a museum after hours were I have a limited time in which to set up and take the photographs.

Worked great as described. We used it on a DJI Ronin-M 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer arm supporting a monitor weighting 2lb. would recommend this product

Works well for lighter cameras and lighting equipment. It's a short, and lightweight stick, so don't expect to be able to mount an ILC and lens on it. But it's great for holding and controlling a smartphone, point-and-shoot, and lighting equipment like the Westcott LED matt.

Works fine. It is quite compact. If that size meets your need its great. I also got a double tube larger unit that provides more length. Both are excellent.

Love this handy little tool in my camera bag! Works in so many scenarios when working with multiple lights, cameras or in the field on my own. Buy it, toss it in your bag, and be thankful you have it on SO MANY occasions! cheers

Needed an attachment to hold my SSD drives for my BlackMagic URSA 4K Mini. Attaches securely and works quite well keeping my drives in place on the unit. Very Satisfied.

This is a key component for any camera bag! It allows for myriad of adjustable settings. I use mine to pinpoint my lights, set my camera in precarious positions and mostly just setup flags to provide the perfect set shading. The price is perfect for a piece that has so many possibilities. KUDOS.

I bought the Flashpoint 11" Friction Articulating Magic Arm(Israeli Arm) to attach an iKan VH7i 7" IPS monitor-which I also purchased from Adorama-to a Nikon D7100 DSLR. The arm works great. It is sturdy and has a firm locking mechanism. Holds the monitor steady. It has nice fluid movement. I'm an amateur filmmaker but I want to make a living doing it. This product helps make me look like a pro.

Considering there's an Italian brand-name version of this that costs a LOT more, and how solid this feels and how versatile the attachments are, it's a pretty darned good value.

I'm really happy with this Israeli arm. I bought it to mount my Zoom H4n on my Canon 60D so that I can monitor audio while shooting interviews. It easily holds the Zoom in place, and is pretty flexible so I can get it in whatever angle I need. I really like that they included both a shoe mount adapter along with the standard 1/4" screw, so I can use this to link between multiple accessories as well. The construction is solid. Knob is pretty good, could be a little beefier, but overall, for the price, it does exactly what you need it to.

I use the product to hold a 7 inch monitor or an external audio recorder, depends on the set up and the day. Usually I take the shoe mount off and screw into a metal clamp for more stability. From there the arm holds the monitor very well. I have used it mounted to the shoe adapter on a camera but prefer the extra stability of a tripod mount with it.

The Flashpoint 7" Adjustable Arm is the perfect tool to mount a small monitor on your DSLR or any thing else you can think of! Designed much like a mini magic arm, with a hot shoe mount on one end and a 1/4"x20 thread on the other end
