I don't shoot Cannon so cannot validate your question with certainty. You can go to the reviews and search for "Cannon" to see if that helps. You can also contact the store; I've found them very knowledgeable about the products they sell.

it is great. I can put this one by the foot of the stand and it doesn't unbalance the flash head and umbrella. it help me with gravity when I move the stand to a new location

Need an in-between length

As a professional RE & Commercial Photographer: The Battery Power Pack is clipped to my belt, I would like the cord to be in length in between the standard it comes with, and this length. Any suggestions?

Flashpoint Extended Power Cable

Works fine. I was using two Flashpoints (main and fill lights for portraits). The extended power cable allowed me to do this easily.

Great accesory

Great when you have to go higher than 7', I have access to turn off the flash when is not in use.

Ridiculously short

This cable only works if you have the power pack on your shoulder. It's not long enough to clamp to the bottom of the stand and extend the stand high enough so it's above a standing model. Or worse yet, up on a boom. And to make matters worse, the 16' cord is ($). #FAIL
