Happy with what I got, but a feature was overlooked

The Flashpoint intervalometer does exactly what it advertises, and for that, I would recommend it. With a few clicks, it can automate photography with settings like delay (time before the first or only picture is taken), length (how long the shutter is left open when in bulb mode), interval (the amount of time before the next picture is taken) and number "n" (how many pictures will be taken in a sequence). My only complaint is that it has no means of being secured. There is no cold shoe to attach it to the camera, there is no clip of any kind to hook it to something, nothing. It is something that could be easily overlooked. When considering this intervalometer has settings such as take multiple pictures in succession, or take a picture with a minute or longer exposure, it can be expected that a photographer using this plans to "fire and forget," so to speak, but is left with no other option but let it hang from its cable, unless one has a table close enough to the body to rest it on.

Connector for Flashpoint to Olympus OM-D E-M1 MK II

I have had a Flashpoint intervalometer for my Canon 5D and Oly E-M1, and this connection cable makes the new Oly MK II work. The connection did not specify that it worked with the new MK II, but it does. It makes my Flashpoint Intervalometer a triple threat. It works with all three connections, and does single as well as interval exposures. The intervalometer function autofocuses each time before exposure. GREAT BUY!
