Perfect Fit

The cage is a perfect fit for the GH4. Very lightweight and sturdy. I highly recommend it over the more expensive alternatives.

Weak and Pathetic

for starters, the pictures are misleading. This cage does not come with a 15mm rod mount as pictured. This excuse for a "cage" is terrible. It is very flimsy and poorly made. It cannot support the weight of a small monitor (BlackMagic Video Assist 4K) mounted on top without all of the bolts coming loose causing the cage to flop all over the place. The handle is very awkward as well. this would probably work if your looking just to have a handle on your camera, but even then i would suggest buying a hot-shoe/cold-shoe handle instead of this piece of junk. Not worth the cash.

Works with Metabones!

Yes, it does! it is the only Panasonic GH4 cage I am aware of that works with the Metabones 15mm Mount-Rod Support. You do not have to dismantle the Metabones tripod support. As a result, there is less stress on the camera's lens mount - pertinent when using long and heavy lenses from Nikon, Canon and others.

Yes, it does! it is the only Panasonic GH4 cage I am aware of that works with the Metabones 15mm Mount-Rod Support. You do not have to dismantle the Metabones tripod support. As a result, there is less stress on the camera's lens mount - pertinent when using long and heavy lenses from Nikon, Canon and others.
