Best overall tripod ever

This is the first tripod that I have bought that I felt completely comfortable with right out of the box. I love it! It fit in my suitcase and was sturdy in the field. Buy it, you will love it! It’s expensive, but I can sell all my others and probably still make a profit.

Innovative and excellent tripod, gimbal and bag!

Lightweight and very sturdy. Many innovations here: gimbal head swings up or down, which enables shooting straight up or down, as well as reducing overall length to under 20”, for compact storage and carry; the fitted case is 1st rate; safety buttons on the quick release knobs; excellent leveling base built into the tripod; rotational click points every 15 degrees can be enabled by a knob. I’ve used this with my Nikon z7 and Nikkor 600mmF4E as well as Sigma 60-600mm Sport lens. Works just fine with these, nice smooth horizontal panning. I really dislike disassembling a gimbal head from tripod, especially since I lock them down with an underside Allen screw. To avoid this, I’ve been carrying my previous setup (RRS PG01 fluid head + RRS leveling base + Sirui 4 section tripod) in a flimsy, oversized bag, which I dislike. The only negative so far is that vertical panning is quite choppy. Thus the 4 star rating instead of 5.
