It's about service
I bought 3 of these lights to replace 3 that got damaged. When the package arrived I tested each of them and one did not work. I called Adorama to let them know and they sent another bulb to replace the defective one.
You can get the bulb in many places but to know you are backed if something is wrong -and at very competitive prices, is why I buy through Adorama.

this is a very nice bulb
very nice light but bigger than i expected.....see attached picture (the smaller one is a standard household light) this light is almost the size of a 2 liter bottle

An OK bulb
I used these for studio and on site videography. Like any CFL, they take a few minutes to reach max brightness. Even at a warm room temp (75F). I bought 4 of these and 4 alzo 85 watt CFLs at the same time. The flashpoints (FPs) are just about identical to the alzo in size. Color wise, the alzo are superior. The cri isn't listed on these FPs, I suspect it is around 85, possibly less. The alzos are 91 cri. It definately shows. (I'm not a big fan of the CRI system because of the way it's rated but its the only color rating system that I know of.) The alzos do have a slight blue tint compared to the FPs. I havn't done RAW shooting with a grey card but plan to soon. I haven't done any light metering but they appear the same brightness. It would be interinsting to know the acutal power draw for each bulb. The FPs are a little cheaper, and have come down since I bought them a few weeks ago. I would say these have a ok color and are bright, there may be better options. They are worth the $$
