Nice simple cover for storing with the flash tube on the flash. Too bad the case for the flash doesn't allow for it.  But for use in a camera bag it's great when transporting to and from location.

Mixed on this protector. It does the job of protecting the bare bulb very well. It should be standard with the Evolve200 Bare Bulb Head instead of buying separately.

I bought 2 of these to keep the tubes attached to the eVOLV 200 and protect them but unfortunately they don?t fit very well? It is to tight and you run the risk of breaking the tube while trying to protect it. I hope they take a second look at the design of this product and fix it, because it is very useful and necessary..

Looks like the picture.  Needed this thick aluminum cover to protect the bulb in the flashpoint light.   I'll leave the cover connected to the unit when the light is not being used.

Bulb really needs protection, especially because of the range of different attachments for the unit. This cover is perfect. Fits, is strong enough to prevent most potential damage and reasonably priced.

worth it's money and a smart investment

I use my bare bulb more than the fresnel flash head attachment that came with my AD200, and this little cover makes it possible to leave the bulb attached on my AD200 at all times for quick setup. I no longer have to carry the seperate AD200 zippered case with me on shoots, as my AD200 just goes in my camera bag, ready to go.

I use my 200's bare bulb 99% of the time. These are perfect for protecting your bare bulb when not shooting

This aluminum bulb protector fits the bare bulb attachment for the eVolve 200 & 200 Pro (aka Godox AD200 & 200 Pro) perfectly. Take your flash unit anywhere knowing the bulb is 100% safe from being crushed (up to several hundred pounds, I imagine — I haven’t TRIED to destroy it, you understand). I was only able to find this at Adorama, and it’s absolutely the right piece for that bulb.

Perfect bulb protector

Purchased 3 of these to protect my flash tubes, two of them were perfect, fit nice and locks into place properly, but the third has a little defect.  It goes on but doesn't seat completely and cant be turned to lock because the channel cut on one side, compared to the other two protectors, is not cut in the correct position.  It is minor and the cost of the piece was so cheap it would cost me more to take the time to send it back.  Haven't gotten around to it, but will file the channel into the correct position and it will work.  Overall, I would make the same purchase.
