We all know this light is amazing, just check YouTube to see the reviews and results other have gotten. I upgraded to this system from Youngnuo (who has never done me wrong) because i needed more power while maintaining the mobility of a battery powered unit. This unit did not disappoint at all. The softbox was a nice addon too. It came is a case with a grid attachment and a diffuser attachment. The softbox does an excellent job of delivering pristine lighting onto the subject.

Love the 200 Pro! I only have one complaint, but it's not a significant enough issue to warrant a star deduction. I wish they made an insert for the cases that were big enough to hold the light when you put the rubber bumper on the flash. I still carry the cases with me, so I have the chargers and all, but I can no longer keep the lights in the cases, as I have installed bumpers on them.

I have only used the speed light head so far but this flash produces plenty of light and 95% of the time is creates a consistent light across the subject. I have had instances where there appears to be 'streaks' of shadow, as of something was blocking the light, but with a small bit of movement of the flash body it seemed to fix this. (I can't recreate the issue when I try) I have yet to experience it getting hot even with consistent use. I am excited to put it to more use.

I'm a long time shooter, but new to strobes. I am really impressed with this kit. It will last me a long time as I grow my lighting skills. Quality on all components is very nice.

Eccellent flash kit, small and powerful. The LED modeling lights are very useful for stills and video. Be aware that most of the accessories will not fit the Pro II. Hopefully new accessories will be able soon.

I have 3, 1st Gen eVolv 200's. The Pro II is an incremental but fantastic upgrade. Much better screen with simpler navigation of settings. New LED modeling lights on the head make the Pro II useable as accent lighting for video, especially with the accurate color temp slider. The strobe color temp consistency option is beneficial when I'm using this unit on its own. I just wish my older 200's were all the Pro II. All strobes in one bag, with incl. accessories, I have 800ws in a very flexible compact and wireless system. Can't remember when I used any of my ac powered strobes. And given the stunning sensor tech of my Sony mirrorless bodies, I no longer need 80# of 6400 WS of ac power.

The biggest step forward yet. Purchased not because of the 1/512th sec setting but the fact that you can attach the BP-960 Battery Pack as an external power source. The new modeling light on the bare bulb head is find but, for my applications it is seldom used. The color coding of the different groups is a handly little feature that it pretty nice and helps you to stay organized as long as you aren't color blind. The difference in the size of the head makes it a bit of a challenge because there are some accessories that will not work because the head has been re-designed. Overall, I am very happy with the model and would recommend it highly especially if you are still working with the original.

Don't own the flash yet, but MagMod users should be aware that it will block/cover the fan on the new head.

Out the box - loving it. Seems to be more powerful than previous versions of the device and compatible with all of the accessories. The thing that I am liking the most is the ability to connect to the Blast Pack BP-960 as an alternate power supply. I have at least a half dozen of these and over the years they have yet to fail me. I put one of these in a 55" Godox Umbrella softbox and it fills the box with crisp, clean even lighting. Haven't taken them outdoors yet but looking forward to seeing the results when competing with natural light. Will update as more testing is done.

Initial thoughts. I love it, even thought I haven't shot with it yet. But let me tell you why. In my initial testing. It seems to be backward compatible with all previous ad200 accessories. Original flash head and bare bulb head, soft boxes, AD-B2 dual head, diffusion dome, even the 200 pro rubber bumper cover. I currently have 2 original ad200's and an ad200 pro. Going to sell those 3 lights and pick up two of these.
