There's a reason that this is the best selling Godox/Flashpoint light. It's so versatile and packs a big punch in a small form factor. And there are TONS of accessories made for it that are fun and easy to use!! I'm going to get a couple more when budget allows!! You can't go wrong!

Terrific flash. Much sturdier than the original (the upgrade is DEFINITELY worth the price difference). My experience is that the battery lasts for ever, the flash is consistent and reliable, the triggering (especially the new x3) is fantastic, it is customizable, and has many useful attachments for flexibility of use, and is super portable for on-location work. It's not quite enough W/S to use in broad daylight with a modifier, but it's good for almost anything you could want to do indoors and the low-power settings are very useful for environmental portraiture.

Excellent unit. Definite upgrade from the original model but, not as powerful as the Mark II. I really like these because they make shooting on a location a breeze. No longer have to worry about AA batteries dying on the job, the power and sync cables on the floor and being a trip hazard. The variety of accessories and attachments make these almost indispensable for location and small studio situations. The major drawbacks that I have found with them and has almost been corrected with the Mark II is that you can power these with the BP-960 external battery and that for whatever reason the process for upgrading the firmware was not developed for Mac users and next to impossible to get done. Thought of sending all six (6) out to a repair shop simply to have the firmware upgraded but the quote for a simple 10 minute service was not worth the costs. This needs attention immediately for all versions of the device.

It's a rockstar of a light source. It packs power and with a Manfrotto clamp, I place it in all kinds of strategic places and keep it out of the way. it allows me to shoot a small room or an area of a room while roaming 360 degrees because it's small enough to be clamped on doors, shelves, etc. The battery life packs a lot of flashes. It's also consistent and delivers under a professional grind. Well worth the money- I have two.

Great Light for the price.. very versatile and can be used all by itself or in combination with other flashes. I use AD200, 300, and two AD100s for my indoor photoshoots and I love it. It's very quick to set up and pack up after the shoot. I use the S-type bracket to utilize light modifiers. Overall it's a great purchase. I did get a high temperature warning during the middle of the shoot and the light stopped firing. I was using it at 1/4 power for the whole shoot. I switched it off, removed and replaced the battery and then continued with the shoot with no more issues. I believe this could be as a result of the modifier I was using or where I clamped the light on the s-type bracket.

This strobe is an amazing product for those looking to do indoor and outdoor photoshoots. I bought a second one immediately after using the first one on a photoshoot and paired it with the evolv twin head/ ad-b2.
