The Glow 42" Collapsible Circular Wind Proof Reflector with Handles is the world's first wind resistant reflector with the Glow advantage. We took the naturally reflective properties of aluminum fabrics, spun in a weave pattern that allows the offending breezes to pass through, while the light is captured and reflected off of its randomized serrated metallic surface. The forces of the airstream are not diverted around the disc but waft between the openings. Mastering the light is no accident . The reversible opaque deflector cover causes light to bounce throughout and flood the wall of the outer bowl of the softbox, resulting in a softer spread of indirect light. By flipping the deflector disk, you can realize differing levels of light distribution. Used independently, the deflector disk can function as a central circular panel to block hotspots, while maintaining the pop of the silvered rim of material extending beyond its position. The use of the outer diffusion material goes even farther to produce very soft light, thereby providing no less than three levels of contrast, sharpness, and dimension.

With the included Eggcrate Grid, you gain more control of a light source's beam by covering the front of the softbox with the grid, virtually eliminating spil and emphasise the model facial structure as well as the eyes, lips, nose, and chin.
