Not much to say. it does what is supposed to do. quality is good and it works like it should.

This device along with the other members of the accessories for the eVolv AD200 are awesome. They have moved the goal post for flashes and accessories. What makes them special is that they all attach to the end of the flash via magnets.  This particular item scatters the light of the flash and creates a broad pattern of light over the images. This coupled with the dome are fixtures on my flash for event photography. One of the added values is that you do not have to own a Round Head flash to use this device. Purchase the device that fits over the rectangular unit and attach and enjoy the same benefits. Great even lighting patterns and excellent exposures. Highly recommended.

Diffuser for Round Head Flashpoint Units

Am I the only person to actually review this thing?  The other three are all 5s and are either part of a promotion or just "quick delivery".  After actually using this thing and conducting numerous tests it appears to be pretty much useless (at least on the Godox V1) for anything except sucking up one full stop of light.  The round head on the V1 already puts out a beautifully smooth and reasonably wide light pattern (much better than any rectangular Fresnel head flash I've tried).  Slapping this thing on doesn't do anything to improve that.  I was hoping to get a wider pattern to match wide angle lenses (V1 only zooms to 28mm), but test shots against a blank backdrop show that is not the case.

Maybe it has some effect on the AD200 round head?
