The flash head comes with its own carrying case, which is nice but it begs for a solution to carry all the parts that you're slowing collecting for this system. I bought this round head for the sole fact of needing to color correct my evolv 200. It's gets the job done with the accessory kit but now I'm carrying three cases worth of gear. The evolv case, the round head case and the lighting mods case.

I really wanted a cohesive output for my Flashpoints, and I was so excited to learn they sold this attachment. Now I can use all of my flash modifiers interchangeably, no matter the strobe. It's a little bulky to pack up if you keep it on, but worth it! Very excited about my purchase, and it has been serving me well at my weddings.

This flash head is the perfect addition to the flashpoint eVolv 200 pro. The magnetic front ring accepts a whole line of magnetic modifiers that make it the most useful head in my opinion.

This head produces a very even, round light without a hot spot. However, the tradeoff is in power. Nevertheless, the AD200(Pro) has plenty of power to make this very useful.

I have three (3) of these and I like them but, I will tell you that I am not over the moon with them. For the sake of transparency, I have not done sufficient testing to say that this is a better solution to versus the rectangle head or that the power output is more powerful than the rectangle head. I will say that the Streetlight 360 was a leap forward because there were no more power cords and with the R2 transmitter all of the units could be controlled from behind the camera but, these units take shooting to a completely different level.Gone are the days of power cords, power packs, overpriced re-chargeable Nicad batteries and sync cords.

Works great. It lets you use the V1 accessories on the AD200 Pro. Definitely a good add-on for working with dynamic lighting conditions. This head offers you the same lighting options you would have using the V1 but with the power of the AD200. Highly recommended.

The round head adapter kit is a must! This makes gelling so easy and has transformed my workflow, cutting significant time off setting up and breaking down. I own 3 of these and I love them. Highly recommended!

Got two right away. No issues with pin connection misalignment. The modeling light, although weak, will help doing tabletop shots. For $79, you owe it to yourself to try one out.

These are a great addition to your eVOLV 200/AD200 still has pretty good output and softens the light vs. any of the other heads, so in a pinch you don't necessarily need a modifier for it and it makes a great rim light as well.

I am new to Flashpoint, and my first purchase with Adorama was a DOOZY (over $3k). One of the items I purchased was the Flashpoint eVOLV 200 Round Flash Head. I love the flash head on its own (swiftly putting on and taking off from the eVOLV 200, and using it with my modifiers is quick & easy); BUT, I was smart enough to purchase the Round Head Accessories Kit, which complements this round head so nicely. I'm able to diffuse the light via a dome and a plate, but can also create lighting effect with the barn doors, colored gels and snoot. You don't "need" the kit, but it sure increases your possibilities when you're creating art. I LOVE all of my new gear, but the Round Head for the eVOLV 200 is one of the best out of all of my recent purchases.

A more diffused light output than the fresnel head. I wish this head came with the eVolve 200 instead of the bare bulb. The output is more even as the fresnel head has openings on both sides for the LED modeling lights. I have not tested the output to see if it is more, less or the same as th fresnel head, but it seems to be very close to the same output in actual use. I would recommend this head if you are looking for a more even and slightly diffused light output. The build quality is excellent as is the quality of all the Flashpoint lighting equipment that I use.

The most practical addition you can invest in. Once you add the modifer sets, you are able to create like you never have before; on this level.
