I have been using three of these for over ten years. They still work as well as when I bought them, same flash bulb, I easily have 5,000 pops on each of the three I own. This goes the same for the 900watt and 1200 watt versions. These are older, so no remote setting, but you can still sync with single pin remotes and slaves plugged into the 1/4 sync jack.

This light has the power I need for outdoor portraits. It is adjustable so it would work anywhere. It is heavy, but if you need lots of power, this light is awesome! You will need a heavy duty stand for this light.

I was super excited to get this light kit as much of the photography that i do is on location and needed a reliable setup. I started with a few speed lites and am currently transitioning to these bigger lights that are capable of HSS this is sure a bang for the buck

Bulb has burnt out twice in two years. If it's used a lot (a big shoot with lots of customers like a prom) it overheats and won't work until it cools. Otherwise it's great - lot more power than the Flashpoint 320M.

This is a great light if you are ok with adjusting it locally on the back of the light. Power adjustment can not be controlled by a transmitter

Hi I bought one FP 1220W and two FP 600W for my studio. They are working well without anyflaw until now. I love them very much. I intend to buyFlashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon and its receivers for using up for 01 Nikon flash SB-900 and two Nikon SB-910 and two Metzs 48-AF for Nikon & Metz 58-AF for Nikon plus Yongnuo YN565EX for Nikon because those flashes should work together with Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon and its receiver as both designed for Nikon and my purpose is use many source of lights as much as I can, such as hair light, trim light, even supply more lighting up for group people because Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon have cable connecting between one FP 1220W and two FP 600W with FP receivers. I do not buy Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon yet but my friend bought Godox X Pro N and its receiver had tested on all my own flashes worked well. They work well together as fas as Godox X ProN and Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon both desinged for Nikon. My friend bought his own but I like Flashpoinnt than Godox. I just tell what I knew

These are very versatile lights. The ability to use ac or the battery has been a life saver when running cords isn’t an option. Very reliable for a low priced strobe.

I normally shoot with ProFoto TTL flashes and decided I wanted a monolight for more power and versatility. I decided to try the Flashpoint 620M after reading a lot of other reviewers state how much they liked this model. I only wanted/needed a 300 watt model but decided on the versatility of AC/DC. I have been completely satisfied with this unit and quite frankly somewhat surprised on how much value you get in this model! I highly recommend it!

Drawback is the goofy flashpoint mount. Decent studio strobe, adjustable, good consistency in light color.

i bout 2 of the 320's and 1 of the 600 in 2011. i use them in a studio setting at my day job at least 4 days a week taking product shots. these have never let me down. i love them. gonna buy another 600. these strobes are awesome..

I bought one of these a few years ago as my first battery strobe. It's not bad so much as the rest of the market is so much better now. The analog power control isn't very accurate, nor does it give you the range of power the new units do. I used a light meter to add true power index marks to the back and even then it's not repeatable to any fine degree. It has to dump power when you dial down unlike more modern systems. There's no way to control power remotely, so when it's up on top of a 10 ft stand, you'll have to lower to change settings. One of its few graces is that you can easily run on AC or battery.
