Ray M : Can an umbrella be attached to the monolight?MICHAEL D : Yes. Take a look at the following SKU:FPLFM1220K2. This has a product photo of the monolight with an umbrella attached.

I do real estate photography and need to be able to point the flash towards the ceiling to disperse the light.Brands@ A : Yes, angle of the flash be adjusted and locked.DAN C : On the Flashpoint stand/adapter the flash head can be pointed "almost" straight up. To get it pointed straight up you will need to use a light stand swivel adapter like the Manfrotto 026 Swivel Lite-Tite Umbrella Adapter (about $30), that can handle the heavy weight of the strobe head.Kay C : Yes it is adjustable.Dick P : These strobes work well. Yes, it can be point up at a sharp angle. It also has a bracket to grasp an umbrella shaft.. Good luck...ROLANDO U : Yes, you are able to adjust any angle-more than 180• Is good to real state photographer.DOUGLAS D : Yes. That's what the large lever is, about 2" below the base of the flash unit. It loosens and tightens the "hold" at the given angle that you choose.

Will I need anything for %he light to work?Kay C : You will need to have the battery charged and you will need a trigger system to activate the flash when you release the shutter. There are plugs on the back of the light to attach the remote trigger the other is attached to your hot shoe. You may also use the cable include to connect to your camera.ROLANDO U : It's including battery, charger and power cord. You can use full power with battery or full power 110 volts or connect both at the same time. Very long lasting battery when full charged. I'm using 4 hours with battery.ARTHUR T : Nothing but a charge on the battery and a trigger to flash the light.DOUGLAS D : That’s all you need, but I would advise using some kind of slave or other remote activator attached to the PC connection instead of plugging it directly to the camera. I don’t know what kind of voltage passes through the PC connector, which if too great Could damage your camera.DONALD S : If you buy the kit with the light, stand and battery, it will work out of the box. You might look into getting a radio trigger for the light otherwise, it comes with a cord that you have to hook on to your camera. Also, getting some light modifiers to put on the front to soften the light would be good. Neewer sells some nice modifiers pretty cheaply. Otherwise, just buy a shoot through umbrella and you are good.FRANK K : Some sort of trigger, either wireless or pc cord to camera.

A beast of a strobe that will run forever.

I have been using three of these for over ten years. They still work as well as when I bought them, same flash bulb, I easily have 5,000 pops on each of the three I own. This goes the same for the 900watt and 1200 watt versions. These are older, so no remote setting, but you can still sync with single pin remotes and slaves plugged into the 1/4 sync jack.

Powerful but heavy. AC/DC< works anywhere.

This light has the power I need for outdoor portraits. It is adjustable so it would work anywhere. It is heavy, but if you need lots of power, this light is awesome! You will need a heavy duty stand for this light.

What a great light

I was super excited to get this light kit as much of the photography that i do is on location and needed a reliable setup. I started with a few speed lites and am currently transitioning to these bigger lights that are capable of HSS this is sure a bang for the buck

Bulb has burnt out twice in two years. If it's used a lot (a big shoot with lots of customers like a prom) it overheats and won't work until it cools. Otherwise it's great - lot more power than the Flashpoint 320M.

FP 1220W and two FP 600W

Hi I bought one FP 1220W and two FP 600W for my studio. They are working well without anyflaw until now. I love them very much. I intend to buyFlashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon and its receivers for using up for 01 Nikon flash SB-900 and two Nikon SB-910 and two Metzs 48-AF for Nikon & Metz 58-AF for Nikon plus Yongnuo YN565EX for Nikon because those flashes should work together with Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon and its receiver as both designed for Nikon and my purpose is use many source of lights as much as I can, such as hair light, trim light, even supply more lighting up for group people because Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon have cable connecting between one FP 1220W and two FP 600W with FP receivers. I do not buy Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon yet but my friend bought Godox X Pro N and its receiver had tested on all my own flashes worked well. They work well together as fas as Godox X ProN and Flashpoint R2 Pro MarkII 2.4GHz Transmitter for Nikon both desinged for Nikon. My friend bought his own but I like Flashpoinnt than Godox. I just tell what I knew

The Flashpoint 620M is all that......and more!!

I normally shoot with ProFoto TTL flashes and decided I wanted a monolight for more power and versatility. I decided to try the Flashpoint 620M after reading a lot of other reviewers state how much they liked this model. I only wanted/needed a 300 watt model but decided on the versatility of AC/DC. I have been completely satisfied with this unit and quite frankly somewhat surprised on how much value you get in this model! I highly recommend it!

320M strobe, good, but needs a standard mount.

Drawback is the goofy flashpoint mount. Decent studio strobe, adjustable, good consistency in light color.

Was good a few years ago, now not so much.

I bought one of these a few years ago as my first battery strobe. It's not bad so much as the rest of the market is so much better now. The analog power control isn't very accurate, nor does it give you the range of power the new units do. I used a light meter to add true power index marks to the back and even then it's not repeatable to any fine degree. It has to dump power when you dial down unlike more modern systems. There's no way to control power remotely, so when it's up on top of a 10 ft stand, you'll have to lower to change settings. One of its few graces is that you can easily run on AC or battery.
