Much Needed Upgrade from the Xplor 600 non-TTL
After having a failure with one of my Xplor 600 non-TTL lights I decided to switch over to the PRO. Straight out of the box you could tell it had a much better design. No more plastic in the mount! The better quality of light was apparent immediately when I started to shoot. Yes, I would recommend this to friends. In fact I already have. lol

The 600ws AC powered monolight champions at recycling, scoring a blazing 0.9 second full power charge at 249GN with total R2 wireless remote radio integration built in, to interface with all of the R2 Family of products, with rapid fire swift Multiflash. And in this impressive Rapid 600 model, the professional specs don't end with power and speed. Exacting digital details with a full menu of Power, Mode, Flash Duration, Sync, Channel, Group, and Custom Feature is clearly displayed on the rear graphical LCD panel. The onboard Manual controls are in a Tenth (0.1) of a stop increments and, depending on the remote transmitter linked to the flash, at Tenth's with the new companion R2T32C controller, or 1/3 stop, with R2 camera remotes. Throughout the 8 stop range, color and flash duration is spot on. A special stable color temperature mode assures even tighter tolerances, up to 1/3766s, and under Multiflash Mode, where the stroboscopic frequency can reach 99 flashes persecond. The High-Speed Flash Mode has controllable flash duration is so rapid, it is possible to arrest action at 1/19606s, with up to 10 exposures per second, or take it easy with 'slow' duration at a spectral rich 1/190s burst.
