Product performs great. It is very heavy and will take time getting used to. And, there was a defective flash tube where one of the prongs ever heated. Adorama responded quickly and professionally to replace the defective flash tube. I have not yet received new flash tube.

I have 2 of these big little flashes and use them on location all the time. They are better than the 200’s since they are more powerful and I can mount them on my camera easily when needed. The batteries can also be used with all my other Speedlights making this very adaptable and useful equipment. I just wish it had a faster flash duration at full power, but you can still do freeze motion if you reduce the power.

Mighty powerful flash for its size! I actually put in on my camera and shoot. Not too heavy.... but it’s a beast in the field!!

I use AD200s for real estate shoots and decided to purchase an open box AD360II from Adorama as my main flash and Im very impressed with the open box product. Worked perfectly out of the box. Flash and battery were both in great condition (could pass for new), no issues with the product whatsoever. I originally purchased a used AD360II from the "other store" and it arrived broken, and was told by the tech online to ship the item back for a refund. Tech did not even bother trying to work out other solutions, in this case I think the bulb was burned out. I'm glad Adorama experience was the opposite.

I am very happy with the performance of this flash and it's battery run time. I have the beauty dish, snoot and reflector bowl and have used all these accessories with the Streaklight. The flash is really quite powerful and I find myself turning the output way down. Although my model was bought to work with Nikon cameras, I use a Pocket Wizard with this unit so my Canon or Sony friends can shoot at the same time. With the power down to 1/8 of full, I was surprised we didn't get poor results when a couple of us fired off a shot a nearly the same time. But recycle times are so quick at 1/8 power that we saw no degradation in output. This flash is very cool even with the beauty dish grid or sock over it. I was a little concerned about heat buildup, but that was not a problem. The only reason I didn't give this 5-Stars was due to the fact that the control interface is not really user-friendly and I actually had to go back to the manual to get the flash in the state I wanted for use with the Pocket Wizard and dial in the right output. Simplifying the control interface would help a lot. The other issue I had was that the flash tube moved slightly and failed to fire a couple of times. It was easily remedied by re-seating the flash tube. Remember not to touch the flash tube with your fingers, use a lens cloth, as skin oils can cause a problem after many uses. All in all, a very nice product that gets easier to use the more you use it!

It's big and cumbersome, but a much better alternative to the Quantum flashes. Accurate ttyl and a good quality of light. I'd be happy to buy it again.

I'm very impressed with these strobes. I was skeptical about trying a new brand but I'm glad I did. I've used Canon, Bowens, Yongnuos, etc and these Flashpoint streaklights are amazing for the price you get HSS, TTL and wireless. I've had them a few weeks now and rather than grabbing a speed light I grab a stand and my new streaklight strobe. I won't shoot without it now. I like having the extra power and speed that it can deliver. They are very light unlike traditional strobes. It delivers a beautiful soft diffused light straight out of the box. If you get the y cable for the powerpack you can cut your recycle times in half and speed it up, cuz why not? We like it fast. I often shoot agency models and on commercial shoots we have lots of movement and these flashes keep up and deliver from head to toe with a great balanced light. I recommend you don't put it on your hotshoe, it's too big for that but it can work in a pinch if you have to. I would suggest the pistol grip or a stand. So far I've shot around 2500 images at less than full power and the battery is still going strong. I'm missing only one tick on the battery meter. I've only charged it once when I got it. It's been over two weeks and it's still going strong. The battery pack can give you well over 3000 shots so long as you're not at full power the whole time. Bonus - no AA batteries needed. My only complaint is the trigger is an awful design all the way around but you can just use the camera to make your adjustments which is what I do. It's fairly easy to use but I'm not liking it.

We bought this to use on-camera in place of the under-powered Sunpak 120J, but it's really too big and heavy. It's perfect for off-camera, though -- easier to maneuver than the battery powered monolight, while generally not drawing as much attention. The built-in radio slave makes life so much easier; we're using it (alongside Godox-slaved speedlights) with the XPro transmitter.

I purchased two of these for my Canon 6D Mark II. They are great so I came back for a third one. The first two are "open box" and were shipped in perfect condition and working order. Honestly I would never have known they were open box without being mentioned in the title. Anyway. They produce beautiful light and are much better than working with speedlights. The battery packs literally last all day without needing to be charged. I plan on using these at my nephews wedding and expect nothing but great results with these flash units.

Use it at a wedding and very portable and gives off allot of light. Price is good compared to a A1 flash. Recommend getting umbrellas modifier. Sechrest Photography

The light is a fine value. It's lightweight and puts out a consistently smooth light. Having more than one gives excellent coverage and creative flexibility when using the R2 remote system.

My initial tests are that the pictures were overexposed somewhat in ETTL mode but I have to work with it more to know when to make +/- compensation, meaning, depending on the environment or room one is working in.

All of my smaller flashes overheat, 5 working Nikon's, and many off brands, all unreliable. I have big strobes - great but, I don't have the time or the help for that. I got the 400WS version of this - GREAT! but off camera. This is the best piece of gear that I have ever had. Thank you!

I am a retired Navy Master Chief Photographers Mate and have been shooting professionally since 1958. I am retired now but still shoot a great deal as a hobby and in support of a local dog rescue group. I love the new StreakLight 360 TTL flash for my Canon DSLR cameras. It is easy to use and is very powerful. I especially love the HSS capability and the absolutely seamless integration with the Flashpoint R-2 Radio Controlled System i.. The Flashpoint 360TTL is heavier than the "normal" hotshoe flash but, then it isn't a "normal" hotshoe flash. In my opinion this is a cross between a hotshoe flash and a studio strobe. However, the fact that the battery is a separate unit, makes the 360TTL relatively easy to use on a hefty flash bracket because the total weight of the entire unit is divided into two packages. I marvel at the accessories available for this unit, both in the number and variety of accessories and the vary reasonable prices for these accessories. The first accessory that I purchased is the "Y" power connector which allows use of both of the power ports of the battery. This significantly reduces recycle time. When shooting in less than full power, the 360TTL and battery pack can keep up with the burst mode of my Canon 7D Mark 2. As I mentioned, although I will be using this unit mostly on a light stand, I have shot with the 360TTL mounted on a Stroboframe camera flip bracket and it works quite well and it is certainly not exhausting to shoot that way. Another attribute that I love is the interchangeable reflectors along with the bare bulb capability of this unit. It is great for use in a softbox. Trying to soften the harsh light from the reflector of a "normal" hotshoe flash by using a softbox modifier is like boiling ice cubes to make tea. It is possible but it is certainly not the most efficient way of making tea. The bare bulb works great in a softboxa nd this unit has enough power to use a large softbox. All in all, I wish that I had access to a wonderful unit like this early in my photographic career, it certainly would have made life easier.

This is not a flash for those looking to lighten their gear. For someone doing outdoor event photography, this is great. The diffusion screen on the reflector gives a broad, even coverage of light that's not as harsh as a standard speedlight. The battery lasts a long time, as well. Off camera it is phenomenal. On camera, it does force some distance between the photographer, and the viewfinder. Thankfully using it on a D3, that wasn't too much of an issue.

These units are great for, quick outdoor flashes. When I'm on the go, and can't take anything larger. I love these flashes

The title of the review pretty much says it all. Absolutely could not tell from new. I have never purchased an open box item before but would now consider it again Even the thin plastic sheets were still over the control screens.

I bought the Flashpoint 360 without TTL for Nikon and quickly realized I must have 360 for the Nikon. I was skeptical when buying a open box item. The savings is what I needed. But I was very pleased when I received the kit and couldn't even tell it was an open box. It works awesome and looks brand new. I added the 2 year Newleaf warranty just in case. Thanks for having integrity Adorama!
