These are really nice umbrellas and stands. I should have looked more carefully as I probably could have used a simple set up with light included but these have been helpful for getting better light on my Zoom calls and for when I make videos.

Lightstand: 5 stars out of 5. Sturdy and reliable. It's not a heavy duty c-stand but it works exactly as described. Umbrella: 5 stars out of 5. A versatile and well made umbrella. The black cover is a little bit difficult to put on just because it feels like you will tear it (but you won't). Mounting bracket: 0 out of 5 stars. I may have gotten a bad unit but it's complete garbage. My unit does not get along with the stand whatsoever. If you are getting this combo I suggest you get an additional mounting bracket (if you really need one). Price to quality ratio: 5 out of 5. What you pay and what you get is completely disproportional (in your favor). I'd recommend this package deal to anyone. If you have a strobe you won't need to umbrella mounting bracket but if you only have a speedlight then you should get a different one.

I am new to using flash modifiers and wanted to ease my way it without spending a ton of money. This outfit was exactly what I needed. Easy to use. The black/silver cover that goes over the white umbrella goes on and off easily. Every piece in the outfit seems quite sturdy and well built. I have shot a hundred+ photos experimenting, moving pieces around and learning, and the outfit shows virtually no wear. Very pleased with Flashpoint products. Definitely a keeper and will buy more.

This is a great lighting kit for those starting out. It is a very sturdy stand that doesn't tip over easily. The umbrellas in the kit are very high quality for the price. My only complaint is that the cold shoe and umbrella stand have to be detached from the stand for the stand to fit in the bag. It is a bit of an annoyance to try and squeeze the mount into the bag everytime you pack up the kit. Otherwise, a great kit.

Softness is not as great as you might get from dedicated softboxes and the umbrella's rod seems flimsy. I hope it will last under stress. A solid metal rod would have solved the problem. Product is good, overall.

Definitely good gear for the money ... it comes with exactly ZERO instructions so you have to either already know how this stuff works or try to figure out yourself which I ultimately did but a 1-pager on how it all fits together would be great ...

Fantastic value. They are not the best stands I've used but for the price they exceeded my expectations. Strong enough to take on location and pretty sturdy. They work great for indoor work although you may want to add a small sandbag or some gaffers tape. The stands come with bags and you can squeeze the umbrella into it also. If you are looking to start using OFC this is your kit.

This is a very nice air cushioned set. The setup is light weight yet sturdy enough. I use these for outdoor location shots. Not recommended for continuous studio lighting panels, but great for speedlights and leds. I can get these out of the case attach the mount to the spigot, then attach the umbrella and my speedlight in 2 minutes. Takedown is a little faster. These come with above average cases, too.

My only other experience is with a Cowboy Studio basic setup that cost ~($) for two stands and 4 umbrellas, and this product is leaps and bounds better. I can't imagine a better bang for the buck than this package. Umbrellas are good quality (bounce with white lining), though the shafts appear to be hollow. The stands and mounting brackets are much more solid than the Cowboy Studio product. Given the investment it takes to have off camera flash, I think these brackets and stands are the minimum I would trust hanging my expensive products on.

Umbrellas are really nice. Did not read the description close enough. Thought I was getting shoot through umbrellas with a black cover. Oh well, my mistake. They are sturdy and seem to be pretty high quality. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is the knobs on the stands seem a little flimsy (plastic) and the umbrella holder is the same. For the price though, and the fact that I don't use these a lot, they should hold up for quite a long time.
