Works great, especially with black and white shots. I wish the velcro attachment set up was more stable/less prone to coming off but I guess that's what you get for 10 bucks.

Got a couple of these to go on new flashes and they work well.

Attaches easily and holds well. Doesn't quite narrow beam as much as I'd hoped, but certainly well enough to be of value.

The Flashpoint Honeycomb Grid for Speedlights is a powerful tool in the arsenal of photographers using speedlights and portable on and off camera linked flashes. By covering the standard rectangular reflector with a grid, you gain more control of a light source's beam.

The speedlight beam is narrowed by the grid, limiting spill on all sides of the flashhead. This grid leaves the creativity up to you and the degree of drama accent you wish to achieve. By varying the zoom setting on the flash, it is possible to virtually eliminate spill from the subject and the background.

The Flashpoint Honeycomb Grid for Speedlights assemble simply fastens to any rectangular flashhead onto the outer perimeter for a secure perfect fit, kept firmly in position with a Velcro tab and band.
