Does what it's spoda
Works guhd Just like the other two I bought. It works better than name brand flashes. i've had missfires with some name brand flashes plus these seem to be more powerful. the recycle times are pretty good and the battery lasts for a pretty long time.

Flexible system
Great . It has 5 groups so is extremely flexible. (Camera versions are limited to their own controls, usually only 3 groups.) Always is reliable.

Good value for money

Stopped working out of the blue
I love flashpoint in general and I have purchased many of their lights over the years. A little less than a year ago I purchased the Speedlight for a wedding I was covering. It worked like a charm with no issues. I used the Speedlight two more times after that in my studio, but for the most part, kept it stored in my camera case. Two days ago I needed another light for my shoot, so I charged the battery and put it in. The Speedlight turned on and then flickered twice before turning off. I've never dropped it before and it's stored in a cool and dry room. It hasn't worked since and it's really bummed me out seeing that all my other flashpoint products are perfect.

No More Overeating of Batteries
I had the same model, previously, that was powered by regular batteries. . .it worked great except it ate batteries like how I eat a bag of Doritos. Got the Li-on rechargeable. . .solved the battery problem. . .(but not my penchant for Doritos).

Lithium Battery for the Win
Great Quality Flash! I was using a flash with Double A batteries but ever since I got the Flashpoint it made using flash easier without worrying about my double A's going out.

Flashpoint Speedlights
Overall the flash is very good and pairs well with my Godox strobes. The light temperature is a little warmer than I expected and it takes a few run through a to get a good understanding of the menu but over all it’s great!

Easy to use and super reliable
Great flash if you need an off-camera strobe for multiple cameras. Super easy to set up and use. Works perfectly with my flashpoint triggers. I use this a lot in combe with the Rapid box duo by Westcott. Perfect combo.

Great Flash, Excellent Value.
Great flash with a fast cycle rate and low price tag. The Li-ion battery packs a good charge and cycle rate for a good number of shots per charge. For events, Weddings etc, I recommend a back up battery, but one seems to work for most events.
Networks easily with other flashpoint flashes for complex lighting. Works well with MagMod product. I've only had one hotshoe break on me. It is plastic, so treat accordingly and you shouldn't have a problem. The AF-assist lamp is bring and has a decent range. Highly recommend for beginners and advanced alike.
Functionality, comparable to other name brands. Price can't be beat though. Included instructions get you started, but you will have to down load full manual under the "Godox" brand to get full look at its functions and menu.

Excellent Value but No Remote Zoom Control
Is an excellent inexpensive flash for working with off camera.
I was thrilled when Flashpoint came out with a Pentax version of their trigger system.
I was a little disappointed to find that the v850ii did not have remote zoom control so I ultimately returned and went with the Flashpoint V1 with roundhead instead, however, had I not wanted the remote zoom capability this flash would have been a great value for the role it fills.

An excellent flash!
Its quite amazing that you can buy such a powerful flash that runs on a rechargeable lithium battery for so cheap. I just returned a kit that had two Rotolight Aeos lights in it. When I tried the two Aeos lights out I had to crank my ISO to 640 or so just to get enough light from the flash portion of the Aeos lights. Ah, you can buy about 17 of the above flash for the price of the two Aeos light kit. And one of these flashes will provide a massive amount of light for photography. I have two and it is enough to shoot outside during the daytime in HSS mode and I paid under two hundred dollars for both lights. These flashes are a no brainer. They are cheap and efficient and powerful. Get a couple of these!

Greatest Speedlight Manual Flash my money could by!
So pleased with Adorama’s service and the Flashpoint Zoom Li-on Manual Speedlight I received. They were so helpful to me on the phone.
The Flash has helped me so much in my real estate photography. I am new to this and thrilled with the quality. I look forward to using and purchasing more Flashpoint products the next will be the 200 flash.
