This innovative flash is a fusion of the original Zoom Li-on and the appreciated Zoom Li-on X advancements, boasting a guide number of 197ft / 60m @ISO 100 (200mm). It features an integrated R2 2.4GHz Radio Transceiver, the heart of the R2 Family of Flash, delivering improved wireless abilities and a more refined and enhanced flash spread.
The Zoom Li-on III R2 is powered by an interchangeable 7.2V/2600mAh Lithium-Ion battery, providing up to 450 full power flashes without the need for external battery packs. This compact and lightweight unit produces an incredible amount of power, making it a natural choice for all types of photography, from weddings and events to sports and everyday shooting.
The flashhead rotates 330 degrees and tilts from -7 to 120 degrees, even backward, for bounce or modifier use. It zooms automatically or manually from 20-200mm, ensuring the necessary flash coverage without wasted spill. The unit also features a metal flash shoe with a locking pin for secure attachment to your camera or mount.
The Zoom Li-on III R2 is more than just a flash; it's a wireless command center for the proven R2 Wireless system. It offers remote power control using a Flashpoint R2 System Transmitter or R2 Family flash, allowing you to view and change your flash output as you shoot from more than 150 feet away.
