This one doesn't only work as an amazing flash, but as a modular light as well, proving its efficiency on video shooting, too. I have worked with this flash in parties, different types of events and concerts (all in one week), without having to recharge the battery. This last statement might sound insane, but it's one of its best features, considering you will not need to purchase many additional batteries. TRY IT OUT!

Great product, was extremely helpful as an on-camera flash. It's pretty well balanced on the hot shoe in my Fuji X-T5, and lasts a long time on the battery. Just know that anything past 1/500 shutter speed turns on HSS mode on the flash, which slows the flash refresh, and over time really slows it up.

The user interface takes some getting used to, but once I got everything set up it works great with the R2 Nano I picked up on black Friday. I am happy with the performance and flexibility of the flash. I also like that everything for rhe Godox V1 (batteries, accessories, firmware) work for this Flashpoint.

The flash is great, it's the same as the Godox V1, and the accessories are also nice and easy to use, I love that they just snap on using magnets. The dome is the most useful, it's always on it. They both come with a bag, so the extra bag in the kit has little use, and it's also not a great one, depending on price it might be better to just buy the first two items separately.

This flash is great when it decides to work. I have a sony a7Riii and have used this flash a couple of time but there are times when the flash does not go off or I get an error that the device is not compatible. I would need to remove it and re-attach it for it to work again. The flash itself is good by itself. The accessories are extra but feel like i won't be using it very much.

As part of the Flashpoint strobe system, this speedlight is stunning in its capabilities. Powerful, frugal battery usage, integrated transceiver, round head provides more natural light quality, great accessories to modify light output . The benefits of the Flashpoint strobes is more pronounced when you start adding more strobes, especially the eVolv 200 series. I do wish they were water resistant. My only complaint... I'd accept a higher price point if they were more physically durable. I do not like the improved(?) slide-lock for the strobe to camera hot-shoe. Much preferred the older friction locking ring. Saving 3 seconds when I mount to the Sony is a drawback considering I've replaced the hot shoe on this strobe numerous times (an easy quick and low-cost repair).

I'm usually not the type to leave a bad review, but I bought this a few months ago and it's already done for. It does not fire when it's supposed to, it takes about 5 to 10 tries before a flash actually goes off. I owned two cheap Godox Flashes that lasted me a few years before I went out and bought three of these "newer ones." At first they worked great, and then I decided let me just stick to one for my everyday shooting so I can maximize the life out of the other ones. Funny thing, today they all decided to stop working, and I have barely even used the other two. It's not my shoe, it's not my camera, it's these cheap flashes. I wish I invested in something else, I will not waste my money again on anything Flashpoint. Funny thing is Godox and this brand are identical, I just think this is rebranded but it looks like the exact same thing.

The flash recycles quickly is pretty accurate in exposure and works well as a trigger for the 300 and 600. I don't get the problems with overexposure in hss tgat has been mentioned. However it's not dependable as it will overheat if fired too quickly unlike Canon or Profoto. Recently one of the dials went wonky and won't allow access to the +- button. The other flash started misfiring recently causing no flash followed by bleach out overexposure! Going to see about repairs but I am not hopeful. Still I will order another as canons is way too expensive, and is just a couple years more durable than flash/godox. Also canon requires a special otf cord.

Really was excited to get this flash. Produces great light and lasts a very long time on one battery charge, but please be advised that this is not a good run and gun flash solution as you cannot use ETTL + HSS together on mirrorless cameras (except the R5)...it will overexpose EVERY time. It is a known, well-documented bug.

I have now used it for over 3 years and love it much more than my expensive Nikon SB910 or SB5000. They have been collecting dust ever since. I got a second one for convenience. I recently got the Pro model as well, just to try it out. It makes a great wireless trigger for my FlashPoint studio lights as well. I have found it very sturdy and reliable running it at full power most of the time. I'd love to see them implement the dark touch screen, but even without that it is by far the best value in speedlites.

Love the very complimentary light this flash puts out. I've used it at many events as well as for on the go portraits. The only negative, if you want to call it that, is that it doesn't have the fastest recycling speed. However, I have found that it works fine when I don't need to fire the flash in rapid succession throughout an event. The LED modeling light is great when you want to shoot with more ambient light and need just a little fill or if you want to get some video on the go in a dark area.

Fast recycle, good power, capacious battery, nice accessory set, excellent compatibility with my Sony a7IV and a7RV. The modeling light is very handy on dim dance floors. AF aid light actually works with Sony. I use this a lot in my work as a professional event photographer, along with a whole bunch of other Flashpoint flashes.
