I have Elinchrom Octa 74 this adapter was perfect to keep using my extra large softbox that I love for studio portraits.

Worked fantastically.

Worked fantastically. The only thing we weren't crazy about is that it is secured with 4 screws that require a small Allen wrench making it somewhat permanent. If you are using it all the time that's fine, but we don't need it most times. Still, it was very solid and the photos looked great with our Eli medium octobox. I also recommend finding a better stand attachment for the flash as the one that comes with the 300 is not strong enough to hold the octobox up - it gradually fades down.
