I'm a big fan of off camera flash. I've typically used separate triggers and it was a pain. Using the A600 Pro is a great experience, and with built in wireless control, I can make any modifications to my light from my trigger. I've charged the battery once when I first purchased, and I'm amazed to have gone through several outdoor shoots with no issue on battery power. I use this unit along with a Sekonic light meter and my pictures are flawless, since I have complete control in the palm of my hands with this flash and trigger.

This would have gotten 5 stars but the light came with a dead battery. It could not be charged at all. Adorama was great about quickly sending me a new battery which worked fine. I have purchased multiple other Flashpoint lights in the past and never had a defective battery, so just one of those things that happen. The light is fabulous. It is powerful but not unwieldy in size and it has every feature one needs: TTL; HSS; stable color mode; powerful modeling light; excellent mounting system and Bowens mount for modifiers. I'm more than satisfied and above all it's a real bargain in comparison to Profoto, etc. !

I love the lights. I think the only thing to make it better would have been to advise they a separate cap was needed if using the Balcor mounts. Otherwise I can?t wait to purchase more!

I already owned two AD600's when I purchased the Pro. Great monolight - big improvement in the design and build over the regular AD600. I wish the modeling light were even brighter, though. HSS comes in really handy for outdoor action shots - "freezing" movement.

It works great - a seamless integration with my other Flashpoint XPLOR600. I wanted something that was a little smaller, but that could work as a second light if I needed it. I do not like how the battery attaches. It is different than the other flash and seems more cumbersome, like I'm going to break it. The flash itself is smaller and doesn't have the wider diffuser than the first one, so the light output concentration is more intense...just something to work around. I do like the transmitter at all. I am overall very happy with my purchase!

The Xplor 600pro was purchased for shooting on location outside, primarily school pics. What I really liked is the consistent output that it produced on battery. Really great for several hours of shooting without a break. The sound it makes is pretty kick ass too! The only thing that I personally don't really like it very heavy for location gear. Felt like a needed a heavier light stand and weights. Although, its well package in a compact carrier with a shoulder strap.

I was shocked how easy this was to use. I had a (last minute) outdoor family portrait to shoot. Two hours after receiving the unit I had to run to the location and get setup. I ended up with about 20 minutes to study the manual and the on-camera remote unit. I got PERFECT ttl exposures creating a fill light with strong side-lighting. Cant say how much I am loving this... I have been using (5) White Lightning Ultra 1800's for about 15 years now and tripping over wires - no high speed sync - no ttl. They are all for sale now and I am getting 3 more 600 pros!

This flash system is absolutely amazing. The HSS allows for shooting in direct sun at 1/8000th second if needed. The light color consistency is excellent. This unit is recommended as a great alternative to higher priced brands as the build quality and functionality give you everything that you need to improve your lighting skills.

This is probably my first negative review on a product. I gambled on what I read about these batteries and lost. I used this strobe about 6 times and the last time i used it, I depleted the battery entirely. No big deal I thought, just recharge it...wrong. Enter Adorama's brilliant support for this product. These batteries are so bad they apparently can't keep them in stock. I'm about to return my battery with no clue when or if the replacement will arrive. My suggestion is if you rely on this light for money (like I do) you better have multiple batteries on hand. I'm not even sure if it's ok to completely deplete the battery. The light works great but I could easily see this ruining your shoot if you are solely relying on the batteries.

Love this light. Very responsive, and very quick to set up. I had the Paul c. buffs Einstein's, and I loved them lights. But these are way better. High speed sync, second curtain, and very easy to sync. Not to mention the power the ad600 has. It is plenty.

In general this is a fantastic light but it gets knocked down to 4 stars becasue the umbrella holder does not have a tightening screw so mounted umbrellas are very flimsy. Also the light is clearly pictured with the handle in every photo however it does not come with the light and has to be purchased separately, I think that is misleading.
