Loving this light! Easy user interface, plenty of power, I don't understand the comments I see online about build quality. It's a very well built piece of kit. Yes it's not a Broncolor but what is and it doesn't cost thousands. Looking to get a few more of these. and you can't beat the open box price.

It is just as the adorama description said. It works, and it looks new. The strobe sound is a tad different from my other xplor 600, but it works just fine.

I bought 2 of these, open box, for a great price. It's hard to say anything bad about them at the price I paid. When I add more lights to my arsenal, these won't be what I go for. I'll probably buy the new version and/or a couple eVOLV 200 Pros. However, I see these 600s being a part of my kit for years to come. That being said, the downside is the recessed bulb. It's in no way a deal breaker, but the bulb sitting back like it does makes you have to consider your modifier purchases more than you should have to. Example: I bought the Glow EZ Lock 25" Beauty Dish and the Bowens mount on it makes the bulb on the FP 600 sit nearly too far back to use. It still works, but there's probably a stop of light going unused like this. Luckily, Cheetah Stand makes a low profile Bowens Speed Ring that fits the EZ Lock. After getting that the bulb sits deeper inside the modifier. Bottom line; If you can grab these lights for a couple hundred dollars less than the new version, do it. You won't regret it.

Everything looked new, and everything appears to be working as it should. Initially I thought I bought the wrong one, as the menu settings only showed Canon and Nikon for radio, however, once I turned on my Fuji transmitter, I saw a big “F” appear on the LCD, and everything synced up.

Go for it. If you use it as a hobby, you don't need PRO version. Cheaper and better battery - easy.

Can't say how impressed I have been with the Flashpoint EXPLOR 600. Has everything you could want like mono flashes costing 2-3 times the price. Are there better out there, sure. But not at this price they're isn't. HSS, modeling lamp. Powerful enough to overcome direct sun. Then with the accessory flash head 600W and a 1200W, how awesome is that for working on boom stand, etc. The OPEN BOX was just like brand new, couldn't tell the difference. Love It!

I bought this mono light to add to the rest of the light Arsenal I have. Having the ad200 and the v860ii this is my go to light for studio and sunny California day light if you have been in the market for a mono light and you already have Flashpoint/Godox system it’s a no brainer.

I saw so many videos of the Flashpoint Explor 600 on YouTube that I figured I would give it a try. The unit is absolutely amazing. No cords on the floor and I have gone as much as a week of moderate to heavy shooting without thinking of the power. This battery holds a charge like crazy. Adorama is the best. Super fast delivery and package air tight. I will be buying another soon. If you're consider a light source with lots of power and convenience please give these a try. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. Keith Woodward, Super satisfied customer.
