It was so simple to replace my hotshoe and it brought life back to a flash I thought I wouldn't be able to use again. Just remove four screws, pull out a plug then plug new one in and put screws back in. Simple as that!

I shoot with a Sony camera and the only down fall is the hot shoe the way it is made. I broke one so I replaced with a Nikon all metal shoe and did not connect the internal cable, this makes it a cold shoe just to mount on a light stand or camera bracket. I use the pro transmitter to fire this flash unit, It works well for me.

Over the last few months'l have done reach and YouTube videos of these lights. l shoot Nikon 2 of my sb 800s met with their deaths. 1 met it end by crashing on some rocks during a beach shoot. The other flash met with it untimely death doing a winter bride shoot in 2017. So, l was left with only my SB 600 as my only flash survivor. l did not want to strictly rely on just one flash. So like every other photographer l went to youtube to seek help. l purchased my first Flashpoint ad360 during the summer of 2018. OMG!!!! The light is GREAT. The battery last forever. l then purchased the Flashpoint LI-ON Zoom flash. l wanted a simple speed light for on camera quick work. The Battery on this flash blew me away. But during Wedding dropped the flash and bent the hot shoe. Got a replacement hot shoe, brought to my local camera store to fix. l was having trouble getting it to work. $10 later repair like brand nen. A few months later later l added to my Flashpoint family by adding an additional ad 200 and a second ad360. These lovely get along with each other so well and when you ad the R2 remote. These baby just sing together in perfect harmony. The ad 360s were "OPEN BOX"special and Black Friday Weekend. The ad 200 l got with a Magmod system. Which l have not used yet in the field. The babies( flashpoint lights) truly ROCK. The ad 360 is cheaper then the most recent Nikon flashes and l think can do much more then Nikon. The power out of the as 360s are blindly strong. Do your research and then just get these incredible lights.

I am very pleased with the ease of installation , so simple a child could do it. I really have come to appreciate the level of care for the replacement parts made available to us via the company. i BENT THE HOT SHOE on my flash and found this to make my flash totally new and not miss a beat once installed. I highly recommend this flashpoint flash and hot shoe replacement part....

Four screws in the foot and one more inside the flash are all that’s required to replace your bent, defective foot. The ribbon cable inside is easy to connect. Not bad for $20

I had my Flash on a stand 8 ft up in the air on an outdoor shoot. A gust of wind brought it crashing down. The flash survived, but the hot shoe was bent beyond usability. Fortunately, Adorama stocked the replacement hot shoe. I had it in days. Replacement was easy, requiring only a mini screwdriver and a tweezers for the micro wiring harness. No soldering. The OEM part fit perfectly. Easy stuff.

My V860Xn hotshoes are all shaky because the screws inside keep coming loose. These replacement feet have screws that have glue on them to keep them from becoming loose.
