An item with limited usage but when I needed I most like could not wait.

As a wedding and corporate photographer I'm always looking for ways to be better than everyone else. It is my strong belief that special lighting techniques are what makes an average photo turn into a perfect photo. This device allows me to create wonderful outdoor and indoor lighting, using off camera flash. Not only can I use off camera lighting but also hook up  umbrellas, barn doors, and soft boxes. I also use pretty powerful battery operated strobes, 300 and 600WS, bought here at B&H. For receptions The same setup is used. In very dark rooms we all need to use multiple strobes, producing amazing lighting. This cannot be done without the above device.

These are really hard to adjust and they really won't work on the center hole because of the way the AD 200 is designed. I returned these and I'm using the universal Bowens bracket ( the circular one that you squeeze the light into)

Give me something sollid to mount to the Evolve 220 that stays tight and is solid

Still not robust enough for prime time

I read there may be problems with cracking but I have not had any problem yet. The cost is so low, I bought one for each of my most-used lightstands. I put the bracket on the stand and don't have to take it off again, saving a bit of time during setup and also reducing the tighten-loosen cycles that could possibly lead to cracking. I think I have 8 of these, 6 on often-used lightstands and 2 as backups or if I need to put on a less-used stand.
