so happy they sell this, I'm cracked off the the foot of my flash a few times.  ( not sure if that says more about the construction of the flash or me. )

My only complaint it that the screws are easy to strip the heads. Would love if they included new screws with the foot.

Easy fix for the Godox V860 II (SONY)

It was so simple to replace my hotshoe and it brought life back to a flash I thought I wouldn't be able to use again.  Just remove four screws, pull out a plug then plug new one in and put screws back in.  Simple as that!

Best replacement part I have ever ordered.

I used this part to replace a broken hotshoe on my Godox V1S flash. I had to do a tiny bit of gerrymandering to get it to work (it's not fully compatible with the V1S), but luckily I had enough working parts to exchange for what I needed to get it all to work. Way cheaper alternative than buying an entirely new flash.

A little hinkey to instal, my husband is very good with this sort of thing and he went through 2 of them. Giving it a 4 because after the 2nd install the shoe works great and $40 (for 2) is still a heck of a lot cheaper than sending it in or replacing the flash all together.

Hinkey but worked after 2 installs

I shoot with a Sony camera and the only down fall is the hot shoe the way it is made.  I broke one so I replaced with a Nikon all metal shoe and did not connect the internal cable, this makes it a cold shoe just to mount on a light stand or camera bracket.  I use the pro transmitter to fire this flash unit, It works well for me.

It's pretty annoying that Sony's hot shoe is designed terribly for mounting anything onto it. Stability and balance were not considered during the design process. It was a matter of time before my speed light's mount snapped in half.Luckily, this 20 dollar replacement piece was available and it was so easy to install. Just 5 screws and you're done. I'll probably be buying more of these down the line as they are plastic and prone to break, but that's moreso an issue with Sony than it is with Flashpoint. One thing to note is that this is also compatible with the Godox V860IIS if you're planning on replacing one of their products as well.

Sony's hot shoe is terrible.

Over the last few months'l have done reach and YouTube videos of these lights. l shoot Nikon 2 of my sb 800s met with their deaths. 1 met it end by crashing on some rocks during a beach shoot. The other flash met with it untimely death doing a winter bride shoot in 2017. So, l was left with only my SB 600 as my only flash survivor. l did not want to strictly rely on just one flash. 

So  like every other photographer l went to youtube to seek help. l purchased my first Flashpoint ad360 during the summer of 2018. OMG!!!!  The light is GREAT. The battery last forever. l then purchased the Flashpoint LI-ON Zoom flash. l wanted a simple speed light for on camera quick work. The Battery on this flash blew me away. But during Wedding  dropped the flash and bent the hot shoe. Got a replacement  hot shoe, brought to my local camera store to fix. l was having trouble getting it to work. $10 later repair like brand nen.

A few months later later l added to my Flashpoint family by adding an additional ad 200 and a second ad360. These lovely get along with each other so well and when you ad the R2 remote. These baby just sing together in perfect harmony. 

The ad 360s were "OPEN BOX"special and Black Friday Weekend. The ad 200 l got with a Magmod system. Which l have not used yet in the field. The babies( flashpoint lights)  truly ROCK. The ad 360 is cheaper then the most recent Nikon flashes and l think can do much more then Nikon. The power out of the as 360s are blindly strong.

Do your research and then just get these incredible lights.

I am very pleased with the ease of installation , so simple a child could do it. I really have come to appreciate the level of care for the replacement parts made available to us via the company. i BENT THE HOT SHOE on my flash and found this to make my flash totally new and not miss a beat once installed.  I highly recommend this flashpoint flash and hot shoe replacement part....

My Flashpoint streetlights are my go to strobes and I absolutely love them.  They have taken a beating, being dropped and knocked over several times during normal usage.  The weakest point of the strobe is the hot shoe.  I was surprised to find out that Adorama carries hot shoe replacements.  Ordered one and repaired the strobe and, voila, it's back to normal again.
