Since this bag is designed around the Xplor600 it’s a perfect fit. It’s well constructed and holds the monolight securely, while providing access to all buttons and control dials. Does exactly what it was made to do.

Fantastic case for use with the H600 extender. Velcrow flap at the top lets you close the case while in use, and the ring allows use as a counterbalance for a boom arm.

Get an extension head and a piece of these is included in the same order, the other one I picked it up to transport the flash. Now with two pieces I suggest indicate the pieces that are on every product. The quality is good and can be easily gotten the controls

I order the extension head and didn't realize a bag came with it so I ordered a second bag. Good quality I'll find a use for it somewhere.

This bag wasn't well thought out. The opening doesn't work well when the bag is attached to stand.

Convient and saw revies that say it's been improved. Yes, however it still doesn't take into account the cord and they didn't account for design of the on button as is not convienently located. It is a good purchase with the extension flash head.

I purchased this because I needed a shoulder bag for my assistant to carry the Flashpoint XPLOR 600 Pro. We made it work but it’s a little inconvenient because it’s difficult to access the on/off button and other controls. I’m looking forward to a bag for the Pro version.

The new version with the top flap is an improvement, but the strap is still too thin for the weight, and only large enough for just the battery. I ended up just using a small backpack that can hold the extension head in another pocket as well.

This is a great bag to attach to a stand. Remember if you buy the head extension it comes with one so don't buy an extra (like I did).

Seeing / getting to controls is difficult. I'm not sure why, but it has a vertical velcro strap in the back . It would make a lot more sense to have 1 or 2 velcro straps in the back to hold onto the tripod.

My Flashpoint 600ws extension head arrived today, and this shoulder bag was in the box! When I ordered the head, this bag (a la carte) was on backorder, so now I have an extra in the mail. Glad that Adorama decided to package this very useful item with the extension head. Seems well made and designed, I can't wait to hook it up and hang this from my C stand.

Needs one more opening for the optical slave. Had to cut it out myself. Otherwise great bag for the money!

For what it costs, it's a fairly good value. I don't think it's durable enough for daily use, but for occasional shoots it should work fine. For $ it's a good value. I bought it because I was getting the extension head, but didn't realize it comes with one as well. But you can use one back for the head, and one for the 600 to carry them both around.

I ordered the bag from Cheetahstand because Ed was cutting out a hole in the top of his to allow the bag to zip to keep the unit secure in the bag and still run connection cable in through top. Once I saw this one it was a similar concept but I liked that the opening was a flap door with velcro so it could be sealed shut when the extension head isn't connected. Use it all the time. Easy to hang from my stand when using the extension head for the 600 unit.

The Flashpoint bag was a great asset while I was on location last week at the beach. It served as a weight on the light stand so the wind did not knock it over. I was able to access the unit easily to make changes to the light out put and other settings. I used the flashpoint 600 with the extension head attached to the stand with a 5' Photoflex octobox. Eveything worked flawlessly!

This is the best investment I have made with lighting equipment. I have two Explor600's and they are amazing. Light footprint, long battery life, and consistent strobe power. Theses are highly recommended.

I'm addicted to used the Xplor with the head extension. This bag allow me to hang the light in the tripod so I don;t need to carry an extra sand bag for this anymore. Also great for the assistant to carry the light while the extension head in in the pole. Good quality and great fit

This is a great way to shift the weight of the light to the bottom of the light stand making it harder to tip over! I just wish there was a way to attach it to the light stand, maybe some kind of velcro strap. The one on the back is vertical and doesn't seem to be high enough strength for me to trust it. Overall!!! GREAT!!

I haven't used it for location shots, but it's a well thought out compartmented storage carrying case.

When researching the available bags online that would work with the Xplor 600, I found 2 versions. One with and one without the velcro flap. This enables the top to stay zippered when in use. The cord fits through the velcro flap very nice. The fabric seems very strong and durable.

I really like the Flashpoint bag better than the others. The others tend to not have an opening for the cord and the strap clips are too low allowing the bag to tilt over and possibly dumping your gear. Thought went into this one.....

I use the bag to hang the XPLOR 600 body as a counterweight when using the extension head on a boom. The original design was nearly useless for this because the XPLOR was always trying to slide out, but the improved version solves that problem with two simple improvements: there's a "hatch" that lets you zip the lid closed with the extension cable connected, and the strap lugs have been moved upward so the bag's weight hangs lower. Inexpensive and definitely worth the money!
