Works as expected, no issues and nice to have a backup.

Great Bracket

This is most definitely the weak link in the AD 200 Pro kit.  I question anyone who left anything above a 2 star rating and would guess they haven't actually used it.  It's the worst umbrella swivel I've ever used. Once you tighten the swivel to a light stand it severely restricts the ability to move the center swivel up and down.  To change the angle the light  has to be loosened, adjust the angle and retighten.  Abysmal is how I would describe it

eVOLV Bracket become the best solution for my small continuous lighting system, this bracket is small versatile, and really strong, won't have to replace the original plastic brackets anymore since I already upgrade those with eVOLV, I will highly recommend this item for the studio or on the go professional sessions.

An small but versatile, strong solution

I ordered two of these.  One fell apart.  I bought them to use with my Godox AD200's.  The Brackets that came with the lights turn and the light is not secure on the stand.  I had hoped these would do better with the wider base.  No such luck.

Not secure with the AD200

This bracket is far and beyond better than the original AD200 bracket - which should never have been released as terrible as it is. This bracket works well on the original AD200/Xplor200 with the silicone bumper. Otherwise, I engraved two slots on one of my AD200's with a rotary tool and it works superbly!

It also works well with my AD300 Pro AND my Godox ML60 when using the extended power cable and the battery plate clipped to the light stand farther down. I get more angular movement of the modifier that way.

Miles better than the original AD200 bracket and works with the original AD200, too....

Bought as a back up in case I lost my original. Smooth and easy to adjust. Does its job well.

5 star works great

If I could give it a ?0? I would. Very bad design it will not hold my flashpoint 300pro steady. It wiggles from side to side, just a little but I?m constantly moving my light stands on location & the small movements will loosen the locking screw & I?m very afraid that the light will fall to the ground. So I have to constantly check the locking screw all the time during a shoot.

Bad design

The eVOLV 200 Pro Replacement Bracket arrived earlier than expected and was exactly as advertised and works great.

For $10, its hard to go wrong. I bought this to replace the crappy bracket included with my original AD200. Much better design, but won't work with the ADA6 bulb reflector with umbrella hole.

Great bracket

I needed this bracket for my eVOLV 200 Pro. It works perfectly and I'm glad I ordered it with Adorama. It came in a timely fashion and was packaged nicely. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking to get a bracket for their eVOLV 200 Pro.

Best Replacement Bracket

Original good material

It does exactly what it was designed to do. It works with the Evolve AD 200 light, it can be a handle, or as a mount on a light stand. It includes mounting for umbrella diffusers or reflectors. OH, th ehandle looks exactly as advertised in the online photos!
