Don't stress. This is exactly what you need when you finally break the mount of your Speedlight like I did. I had the older one with the plastic mount. This one is the metal version which seems to be much sturdier. Just remove your old mount by removing those 4 screws and disconnect that ribbon cable. Connect the new mount and you're done. Really easy and fool-proof. I'm buying another one just as a backup

This was amazing. I didn't know this product existed and I was so angry when my flash's mount broke after a guest accidentally knocked over my lightstand. No even sure how to fix it, I was amazed how easy it was to fix!! Just a couple screws and a plugging in a ribbon cable and I was back in business!! It even seems like it fits my camera's hotshoe better and isn't so aggressively tight like the factory mount was. I'd 100% recommend this and it is so easy that anyone can do it. All you need is one of those $10 phone repair sets from Walmart and you're set to go!!

Original plastic hot shoe for flash is junk and broke off from regular use, replacement was easy swap and much more reliable, definitely would recommend.

This is a fast repair for the Zoom Li-on X R2speed light. Four screws and a ribbon connection is all there is. It took about five minutes to repair and now my flash is as good as new.

These are amazing. The past few weddings, I've been having issues on two flashes ("accessory not supported" message on the camera) and I'm pretty sure it was because the pins were bent. Thanks Sony - great design :( Anyway, I ordered two of these. Took forever to get here (came from NJ I believe and I'm in PA) but was worth the wait. I was so worried I'd have to get two new flashes, but these things are awesome!! I will get 3 others for my other flashes (because I like the metal opposed to the plastic) and a couple extra because this isn't the first time these pins bent out of line. Love these things.

Solved the weakest point of the Godox Speedlights, their fragile plastic hot shoe. Very simple installation, works as the original shoe, but now impossible to break. Please buy this inexpensive metal hot shoe, and replace your original, before it breaks in the middle of a shoot!

O.K. relax, You've bought the flash and broke like we all do, because the week part of this flash is the hot shoe, yes sony's great but a plastic shoe on their flashes, (well everything has a fault). 1st get a small Phillips screwdriver, you know like the kind you fix your glasses, then a pair of tweezers, then remove the four screws that holds the shoe on then with the tweezers remove the connection inside the falsh and put back together the same way, don't worry it will become clear when you take the four screws off. I'm serious this was sooo easy

This little piece saved me 100s on replacing the entire flash. The original flash hotshoe was plastic and literally broke during a shoot. This one is metal and looks sturdier. Adorama could've been greedy and not put these replacement parts out, but instead they provided inexpensive options for us to keep using the flash. I am super happy with this product.

I love my Sony cameras but I have always hated the hot shoes on all of them in conjunction with the plastic feet that pretty much all flash accessories designed for Sony have always needed to have and the awkward fitment and concerns of possible damage, so I was excited to find out about these and decided to try one on one of my Li-on III's. I was instantly happy with the improvement in both the ease of getting the light on and off the camera as well as the more robust feeling. It is too soon to know if it is really any more durable, but it is absolutely an ease of use improvement worth the purchase price and two minutes needed to do the swap. I am now ordering more to swap out my remaining units!

Great fit, I hope it is sturdier than the original that was on the flash. as this one has more metal/
