It is cheap, and works.
It is cheap and does the job, but the creaky plastic tightening knobs leave me wishing I'd spent a little more for better quality.

Great value!
Great value. Surprised by the excellent build quality. A useful addition to my kit for on-site work, especially when light stands are not allowed without permits.

Flashpoint Speedpod
This Speedpod actually came along as an accessory to the speedlight I purchased. It actually is pretty good. I use an assistant to hold a flash on a stick at weddings and this one is made of aluminum which makes it a bit more rigid than the carbon fiber one I usually use. It also has very good length which is a plus.

Handy tool for an on the go shoot!
Great tool if you have a mobile assistant and you are constantly on the go with your shoots. Each end has a threaded head, all good. But, my assistant had the set the boom between her toes to avoid destroying the thread on the end. I will head to a hardware store to pick up a nut or two to cap it. My suggestion would be a cap to avoid damage. Other than that, awesome!

Nice lightweight boom
This is great for location shoots where you need to raise a flash up. My assistant carries this and can light a subject in a flattering way at a moment's notice.

Good product
Nice product for the price. Sturdy feel! Does what it's supposed to. Mounting strobes or flashes to use with an assistant at an event or shoot.

Heavily built for the price
Was very surprised at its build quality it could use a extra foam grip and a butt plate to aid the assistant with placement but all in all very satisfied

Surprising quality
I'm was surprised of the quality for the cost. I commonly mount a Flashpoint Streaklight 360 and 36" Octobox on it and it holds without issue.

This came in a kit. At first I figured it was a bogus addon but now I really like it. Great for outdoors with an assistant!!!
