The biggest drawback with some of the lower end follow focus units is the machining on focus stop knobs; they just seem to LOVE falling out and going AWOL. To make matters worse, good luck trying to get replacements from those manufacturers (I'm looking at you, CPM...). You could try your luck matching threads/diameters in the hardware aisle at Home Depot or you can try these knobs from Flashpoint. The larger center registration point knob replaced the missing one on my CPM FF-1000 perfectly and the bright blue is easy to spot. The smaller hard stop knobs, not so much, but one battle at a time.
