I love these power packs. It is unfortunate that Adorama no longer sells the Flashpoint Streaklight C-360 unit. I found one on ebay. They are the most powerful portable flash units I have found. The only weak point is the power cable which does not hold up for more than a few months and it is too short.

This was bought as a gift for my daughter. She is a Professional Photographer. She was super excited about the Flash Point. She stated that it was light weight, easy to use, great for small events as well as big events like Weddings. She recommended this product to all photography friends.

Great power supply for Canon Sppedlight flashes! It lasts for a long time on a single charge and having an extra battery means I can easily shoot long events without having to swap out batteries in my flash.

After you get past how bulky this is, it's super dope. Cuts down recycling time, and has a usb port to charge other things on the go. Bought it and road out on my first charge for multiple events

Speed light was powered by AA cells. When I plugged this in, it greatly reduced cycle time and, of course, greatly increased number of flashes. Dollare for dollar, one of my best investments.

i bought this to power my quantum flashes, and so far so good; once i use it more, i will purchase another power pack. I like the small compact size, and i can carry it, with the strap, or hang the unit on the tripos with the flash. This can change 2 units, which is a plus too

I’ve owned other flash power packs in the past, but this one is the best by far. Simple, rugged, powerful, reliable - and very affordable. Don’t waste time and money looking at other units...this is the one.

battery recycles faster than the flash could handle. Melted the front plastic of the flash.

Love it! Light weight, don't mind wearing it around my neck all day. I also use it as a 4th light in my studio for fill or effects and it runs a sb900 all day! What's not to love

This is my favorite battery pack and I have had many over the decades but this one beats them all. It is lightweight and holds a charge. It has not failed me during the many weddings I have photographed and it has never come close to losing a charge. Bought an extra battery and have never needed to use it! It also costs a fraction of what my older batteries cost.

The battery pack is great, works great and recycles fast. The downside is the too short cable that is awkward at beast. It works, but is about a foot too short. For the price its a 3.

I have now used this system on 3 events since it arrived a week ago, and I can say the performance and capabilities match my old Quantum Systems, at 1/8th the costs, and with easily owner replaceable batteries. I own Flashpoint Units (3) of them, and the two front units are powered from the BP-960, and the flash behind the individual or group uses its own batteries, but is used at 1/64th the power so it keeps up just fine. I would buy another one if I add to my flash collection.

Great for extra power for flash however you have to still have batteries to run the flash. The power cell only powers the flash bulb.

I am very satisfied with this product. It allows my flash to cycle faster. I now have very few black shots from flash not firing. Adorama support was very helpful with any questions I had about the product.

Adorama's in-house brand, Flashpoint, has made a name for themselves in the photography industry due to their rapidly growing range of well-priced equipment. Savy buyers may recognize them as a re-branded Godox equipment, but it is just more than that, Flashpoint has the backing and customer service of Adorama behind that that we all have come to expect. Part of the Flashpoint family is the Blast Power Pack BP-960, a battery pack that can be used with speedlights and other portable flashes. The BP-960, may not be the sexiest, nor the least expensive accessory for your speedlight, but it is inside that counts Why Use an External Battery? One of the biggest advantages of higher powered external packs is the decreased recycle time and the number of flashes that can be produced from the humble speedlight. The Blast Power Pack BP-960 is capable of producing up to 1800 at full power when used with a Canon 580EXII, or similar light and reduces the recycle time down to 1 second, which is significant. In my testing, the results indicated that with a Flashpoint Zoom R2 and paired with a Nikon D750, I could get nearly twice the number of flashes before the flash started slowing down. It has become indispensable for wedding and event type work. But Wait There's More What makes the BP-960 better than other external battery packs on the mark is its replaceable 4500mAh lithium battery. Other external batteries rely on numerous AAs to power them. As you well aware, AAs can get quite heavy and take up a significant amount of space for storage and charging. Compared to other options, it is an actual steal in terms of the number of headaches and backaches it will save you down the road. On top of all of this, it can power two speedlights to boot. Concluding if your type of photography relies on you using speedlights, an external battery pack is an option worth exploring. At this price point, you would be hard pressed to find a better option that doesn't rely on AA battery sleds. At the end of the day I think it’s a great buy, but don't just take my word from it check out all of the other 5-Star reviews here.

I struggled with refresh rates and burning through AA batteries every time I did a wedding. I finally made the decision to purchase battery packs through Adorama. I am glad I did. I made my purchase over the phone and the sales rep was knowledgable, and helpful. I purchased 3 BP-960 units. I have 1 SB910 and 2 SB900s. I could not be happier with my purchase. They look professional and preform excellent! My only negative is they are a little larger than expected, the plastic body feels cheap, and the plug caps at the top of the unit (there are two of them) seem like cheap plastic. The LED battery level indicator is a bright blue so you can easily see the level in a dark area. I have done two weddings with theses and they worked flawlessly! I recommend this product.

This thing is simply incredible: portable, rugged, VERY nicely built and delivers in spades. You'll recoup your investment in no time by skipping on expensive lithium batteries, that I used to use due to their extra power. I own 2 Canon’s 580 EX-II flashs + additional Canon power packs that accommodates 8 AA batteries. So, 8 lithium batteries are about $20 at my local pharmacy, plus another 4 inside my flash, totaling near $ if you want to have a shoot. Now, multiply that by 2 if you have 2 flashes, like I do and it’s already $ (I never used recyclable batteries due to their poor power handling and quick discharge times.) And remember: as any batteries drain, you lose recycling time BIG TIME. It gets progressively more and more frustrating to wait for your flash set-up to get fully powered up as the time goes on and your subjects await. A few hundred shots – all it takes to go from a second or two to power up to now a good few and that is totally unacceptable. And it’s not just you, who gets frustrated, but your subjects as well. People can hold their smiles on only for so long before losing interest or directing their attention someplace else. So, that’s when the power pack comes into play, where it truly shines. I bough one myself and got a second one as a gift. I simply love them: they respond instantaneously, giving you ability to shoot as fast as you want. Not once have I exhausted their full capacity in one session and never had a single problem with a delay due to power not being available. Each charge supposedly yields around 1800 shots with recycling of just about 1 second, however, if you buy a special Y-cable, plugging it in both battery ports, you reduce recycling time by half, which is insane. Having learned from my poor experience with multiple AA-batteries set-up, at the time of purchase I bought a spare battery for my BP-960 pack, but never got around to using it due to sheer unending power of the first battery installed. Its capacity seems to hold power indefinitely and even a few months after my last charge it took me about 20-30 minutes to fully charge it to its full capacity. What else is there to add? Before coming across Pack BP-960 pack, I saw similar products at another super-store that cost at least twice the asking price at Adorama, but feature ether similar power ratings or even less for much more $$. So finding Adorama’s battery pack was G-d sent and all concerns about powering up 2 flashes are a thing of the past. Thank you, Adorama. Oh, and this is NOT a paid feedback – I’m actually a real user of 2 BP-960 packs.

Really increases the recharge speed on my 600 ex-rt's. Super useful and I shoot events and sometime just get a few seconds of great expressions so it's nice to get several frames.

I have other Flashpoint power packs for my Canon cameras. I have been very pleased with the others that I bought this one for my Metz flash that I use with my Hasselblad H4D camera. It charges quickly and has plenty of power for a lot of shots. With this power pack, you do not have to use the batteries in the Metz flash like you do with the Canon flash. I would encourage anyone to check their Metz flash model to be sure which cable to purchase to connect this power pack. Different model Metz flashes use different connecting cables. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Product works really well. HOWEVER, remember to have a good battery set in your flash unit to run its electronics; otherwise the flash will not work. Apparently this unit only recharges the capacitors.

After shooting stock car racing for about 10 years, I finally got a power pack and picked this one because of cost and what you go with it. Pros: -Seemingly endless power. I shoot manual power at 1/2 power so with two batteries I haven't even had to charge one. -Very light-weight and packs away well. -Very secure connection with cord to flash. Cons: -The battery to cord connection can be a bit of a hassle but once secured I've had no issues. -The connection at the battery is plastic and I'm worried about it breaking with continued use. -It doesn't play well with my 580EX II. I was shooting a race and the flash output wasn't consistent, even though I shoot 1/2. After delving into some settings; when the flash would go into sleep mode, the flash wouldn't fire at 1/2 power. Once I turned the sleep off on the flash, it would have consistent output, I just wish I would have solved the issue before the end of the night when I had. The camera also wouldn't recognize the external flash via custom functions menu until I resolved the issue. Knowing what I know now, I think will be a perfect fit for my kit and needs. I would totally recommend this to anyone with the understanding that this may be something you need to setup before a big shoot.

This little power pack is big on performance. I use my speedlite on TTL and this power pack allows me to shoot rapid fire with the fastest recycle time I have ever seen. I plan on buying a couple more. I highly recommend it!

Their estimate of 450 full-power flashes seems right. Recycle time of 4.5 sec (full power) can be reduced 40% with the y-connector FPCBBP9601T2.

When my Canon CP-E4 gave it up, I needed a replacement. I decided to try the Flashpoint Blast. It's amazing! It keeps up with my 5D MarkIII without a problem. Plus, you don't have to deal with 8 AA's. Just plug it in and it's good to go for as long as you are. It's well worth the small amount of extra money!
